Andrew entertained a motion b. North West Vista so moved c. All in favor d. Minutes approved Chairman s Report a. Alamo College District Bond i. $450 Million 1. Broke it into 3 2. $150 million ii. Bond was announced in 2005 iii. Citizens Advisory Committee- 2 Reps iv. WETC 1. Westside 2. Southside 3. Northside 4. Not connected to any of the colleges 5. Designed to offer students: a. 2-year institution b. GED c. Moving them to higher education v. $23 Million dollars dedicated to each center vi. Palo Alto- HAS vii. NVC- Student Success Center viii. St Phillips 1. Bringing in a new building 2. No official timeline 3. 2-year timeline 4. Most projects should be done by 6 years ix. Give the older institutions help with the bond to get their buildings restructured b. SA Bond and Election Info
