3 Comprehensive Plan Amendment Process The draft amendments reflect: The Planning Commission and City Council s recommended docket for various text amendments and; One map amendment that would require a zoning amendment. This is based on an application from a local property owner. November 14 - Planning Commission Public Hearing and Recommendation to City Council of Proposed Comprehensive Plan & Zoning Map Amendments Ordinance November 17 - Review of Proposed Comprehensive Plan Amendments Ordinance December 1 - Review of Proposed Comprehensive Plan & Zoning Map Amendments Ordinance December 5 - Public Hearing and Adoption of Proposed Comprehensive Plan & Zoning Map Amendments Ordinance
4 The following is a list of the City employees by department who worked to ensure this deliverable was prepared and submitted on time. A TIGER III federal transportation grant application was submitted on October 28, 2011 by the Department of Community and Economic Development, as part of a multidepartment team effort. The grant application requirements are extensive; the most complex the city has ever undertaken. A webpage has been created specifically for our Tiger III grant. It can be found as /planning/tigeriii.htm. The entire grant and the supporting materials are located there. 6 Traffic Signal at 232 nd & 56 th Upgraded for Sight Impaired
7 Community Satisfaction Survey Postcard mailings notifying randomly selected households (1,200) by NCR that they can expect to receive a survey have begun. The postcards were delivered to the post office October 28, 2011 The scheduled date for the next mailing is November 4, The survey results compare trends and deviations that will assist the city to allocate resources, balance priorities, and set new objectives. Results are expected to be ready in early January 2012, in time for the City Council s annual goal setting retreat in February 2012.
