Fly Off participants have to bring 1 timekeeper each. Every competitor of the World Cup must present a valid FAI license for 2011 and a third party risk insurance at the registration. We welcome volunteer timekeepers! As a non-flyer in this contest you will receive 10, drinks and free lunch. Second Timekeeper on the pole can be even flyer from the pole (without payment). All competitors are kindly requested to make a minimum 1 flight/ each round second timekeeper. Protest: Challenges must be presented to contest jury in written form and by paying protest fee of 35. Banquet/ The price giving ceremony of IKARUS CUP take place during the banquet on Saturday evening at Price Giving Ceremony: in the hall behind Weingut Schmahl in Ilbesheim At the banquet will be offered food and drinks from Weingut Schmahl, payment will be done locally. Due to better coordination please give us in your application a note of banquet participation. In the case that the Fly off of the IKARUS CUP cannot be finished the day before, On Saturday morning the last Fly off of the IKARUS CUP will take place. This contest will be flown from sunrise till The round with the highest and the lowest time will be cancelled and from the rest the average will build the result for ranking. When thermals will appear, the special sunrise competition is finished. For this contest no FAI license for 2011 is necessary, but every competitor has to show a confirmation of third party risk insurance at registration. Competitors will time each other.
