Call to order Meeting called to order at 8:10 AM Brasilia time by Matheus Souza. II. Member introduction Each person gave a brief history of his/her career and basic responsibility with his/her company. III. Approval of Previous Meeting Minutes: A motion was made and seconded to approve previous minutes as presented. IV. Discussion/update: Arnold Huerta gave a brief report, which included: - Grain Drills: This program has not been launched yet due to low volume being reported, which could potentially expose participants. A motion to delay report publication for grain drills was seconded and approved by the AG LA SPSC until there are at least three participants to avoid any data disclosure. - Mounted planters: This product was deleted from the AG LA Regional Statistics Program due to low volume reported and the presence of less than three participants, which would result in exposing their data. - Bailers: A program for round and rectangular bailers was successfully launched in August 2017.

2 Page 2 - Spreaders: The report publication for these products will be on-hold until there are at least three participants to avoid any data disclosure. Proposal for Hay & Forage equipment: Leandro Henz presented a proposal to add hay and forage equipment to the AG LA Regional Statistics Program. A motion to report the following hay and forage equipment was seconded and approved by the AG LA SPSC: a) FE60 - Mower Conditioner, Sickle bar: The report publication for this product will be on-hold until there are at least three participants to avoid any data disclosure. This program will follow North American s size classifications. The proposal passed by a simple majority. b) FED1 - Mower, Drum and Disk / FED1: Target launch is November Participants are required to back report data starting January Participants companies will include AGCO, John Deere, Claas, and CNH. Program to follow North American s program size classifications. The proposal passed by a simple majority. c) FEM1 - Mower Conditioner, Rotary Side-Pull or Mounted: Target launch is November Participants are required to back report data starting January Participants companies will include AGCO, John Deere, Claas, and CNH. Program to follow North American s program size classifications. The proposal passed by a simple majority. d) FEM2 - Mower Conditioner, Rotary Mid-Pivot Front-Mounted or Multi Unit: Target launch is November Participants are required to back report data starting January Participants companies will include AGCO, John Deere, Claas, and CNH. Program to follow North American s program size classifications. The proposal passed by a simple majority. Participants all in favor: AGCO, Claas, and CNH. Opposed: John Deere. e) FERO - Rotary Rakes: Target launch is November Participants are required to back report data starting January Participants companies will include AGCO, John Deere, Claas, and CNH. Program to follow North American s program size classifications. The proposal passed by a simple majority. f) FETD Tedders: Target launch is November Participants are required to back report data starting January Participants companies will include AGCO, John Deere, Claas, and CNH. Program to follow North American s program size classifications. The proposal passed by a simple majority. Participants all in favor: AGCO, Claas, and CNH. Opposed: John Deere. g) FEWR - Rake, Finger Wheel: Product program proposal did not pass due to insufficient program participants. V. Latin American version of the AG Tractor and Combine report (similar to Russia s report:

3 Page 3 A motion to create two separate tractors and combine reports was seconded and approved by the AG LA SPSC as follows: 1. A public report for the entire Latin American region without indicating countries and size classifications for tractors and combines. 2. A non-public report exclusively available to the AG LA SPSC s program participants. This report will indicate the following: a. Latin American regions broken down by Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, and Other Latin American countries. b. Size classifications: For tractors: 0-80 HP, HP, Above 130 HP For combines: no size classifications VI. Move from AG tractor and combines wholesales to retails in Brazil: A motion to add retails to the AG LA Regional Program for Brazil Chart for tractors and combines was seconded and approved by the AG LA SPSC as follows: a. Publish two separate reports each for retails and wholesales. b. Launch date: July 2018 c. Program participants to start reporting retails by the state level and according to current size classifications beginning January d. No customer type/end-use will be reported. e. Back report: January 2018 f. Program participants: AGCO, CNH, Claas, John Deere, LS Mtron, Mahindra. Action item: AEM to contact Kubota to determine whether it is capable of collecting retails. VII. VIII. IX. Adopting Latin America s (including Mexico and Argentina) size classifications for tractors and combines in Brazil (Brazil chart currently follows ANFAVEA s size classifications: The AG LA SPSC agreed to table this topic for discussion at future AG LA RMC meeting. The initiative seeks to align one size classification for the entire Latin American region. This topic requires the approval from the AG LA RMC due to political and legal compliance in the Brazilian market. Proposal to create a separate chart for Argentina to align with AFAT s report publication schedule: In light of the pending MOU between AFAT and AEM, the AG LA SPSC agreed to postpone discussion of this topic until the agreement is signed. Once this process is complete, the subcommittee agreed to meet with AFAT s members to better understand their program requirements and ensure program alignment in the entire region. Program participants readiness to report state-level wholesales in Mexico: The AG LA SPSC agreed to table this topic for discussion at future AG LA RMC meeting. The subcommittee will seek the AG LA RMC s advice and request their

4 Page 4 influence within their respective companies toward establishing the require structures and/or reporting capabilities to collect state-level data. X. Proposal to add two new attributes for Pull-type Planers (FE15): A motion to add the following two new attributes for Pull-type planters for all AG LA Program charts (Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Other Latin American countries) was seconded and approved by the AG LA SPSC: 1 - Fertilizer System (Yes/No) 2 - Transport System (Yes/No) Program participants will back report historical data starting January XI. Determine and outline subcommittee s goals and priorities for : The AG LA SPSC outlined two key priorities. They are: a. Ensuring implementation of state-level retail reporting for tractors, combines for Brazil chart as approved by the subcommittee and described above. b. Adding new participants to the AG LA Regional Statistics Programs. Targeted key companies include Pauny, Jacto, Agrale, Pla, and Stara. Action item: The AG LA SPSC to request and schedule a meeting with ABIMAQ to potentially introducing the AG LA Regional Statistics Programs to their members. The initiative aims at giving a sales pitch to ABIMAQ s members towards potentially recruiting additional program participants in the Brazilian market. XII. New business: The AG LA SPSC appointed the following product specialists: Leandro Henz: a. Rectangular Balers (FE05) b. Large Round Balers (FE06) Matheus Souza: a. Grain Drills Cristiane Daniel: a. Combine Draper Head-Rigid b. Combine Draper Head-Flexible The product specialists will be responsible for monitoring the statistics programs related to their assigned products, including the review of model charts for their assigned products and that participating companies report all their products in their proper categories. There was no other business to discuss.

5 Page 5 XIII. Next meeting date/location: The AG LA SPSC agreed to meet at World AG Expo 2018 on Tuesday February 13, 2017 in San Francisco, California. XIV.
