VALUER & SURVEYOR DEPTT. 4.(1)(b) Proactive disclosure of organization details as mandated u/s 4 of RTI Act, 2005 ii) The powers and duties of its officers and employees # Ch.Valuer & Surveyor (iii) (iv) Head administrator & controlling officer of the department. (vi) Controlling the work of subordinate staff. (vii) Making correspondence with other Govt. departments. (viii) Conducting survey work. (ix) Preparation & updating Immovable Property List of KMC. # Sub-Asstt. Engineer (Civil)/Survey-valuer (iii) (iv) (v) Inspection of site related with survey observation report (SOR) and preparation of inspection report. Inspection of site as and when directed. Preparation and updating Immovable Property List of KMC. Attending various types of complaints as and when directed. Attending survey work. # Draftsman (iii) (iv) Preservation of drawings/record of KMC properties. Preparation of all types of drawings etc. as and when required. Preparation of copy of Smart s map and other maps as and when directed. Preparation of report related with survey observation report (SOR). # Administrative Officer (A.O.) Look after administrative works of the department. Maintain the service records and other establishment works of the department. # Supervisor i) Maintain service records of employees. ii) Preparation of salary bills of employees. # Head Assistant (H.A.) Preservation of record file of KMC properties. Receive SOR application through system. (iii) Preparation of report related with SOR. (iv) Preparation of salary bills etc. v) Making correspondence with others as and when directed.

2 iii) iv) The procedure followed in the decision making process, including channels of supervision and accountability; The norms set by it for the discharge of its functions; # U.D. Assistant (UDA) i) Preservation of record file of KMC properties ii) Receive SOR application through system. iii) Receive & despatch all types of files/letters etc. iv) Preparation of salary bills of employees. # Jr. Asstt. i) Receive & despatch all types of files/letters etc. ii) Assist A.O., H.A. & UDA. iii) Maintain file register. # Bailiff i) Assist H.A. & UDA. ii) Work as per direction. # R.S. i) Supply records as and when directed. ii) Keeping records in office. iii) Work as per direction. # Orderly i) Assist HA, UDA & Jr. Asstt. ii) Despatch files to other department. iii) Work as per direction. # Peon i) Despatch files to other department. ii) Work as per direction. Proposal is initiated by the Department to the authority depending upon the individual files/matters/documents etc. The official hierarchy is maintained as per K.M.C. Act & W.B.S.R. for discharging the functions of the Departments. v) The rules, regulations, instructions, manuals and records, held by it or under its control or used by its employees for discharging its functions; Establishment files are controlled by the Administration Officer & records are under the custody of D/Man Section. Files related with KMC property etc. are kept in the office custody.

3 vi) vii) viii) ix) A statement of the categories of documents that are held by it or under its control; The particulars of any arrangement that exists for consultation with, or representation by the members of the public in relation to the formulation of its policy or implementation thereof; A statement of the boards, councils, committees and other bodies consisting of two or more persons constituted as its part for the purpose of its advice and as to whether meetings of those boards, councils, committees and other bodies are open to the public, or the minutes of such meetings are accessible for public; A directory of its officers and employees; - SMART s Map. - Alignment/Free Gift/Taken overdrawing. - Copy of Mouja Map etc. For imposition of road alignment paper notification is done through public media. For acquisition/requisition, proposal is usually sent to L.A. Collector, Kolkata. Constituted board, councils, committees are duly administered by the provisions of the KMC Act/1980. Annexed I (herewith) x) The monthly remuneration received by each of its officers and employees, including the system of compensation as provided in its regulations; Annexed II (herewith) Remuneration as per Govt. of West Bengal pay structure and ROPA rule. xi) xii) The budget allocated to each of its agency, indicating the particulars of all plans, proposed expenditures and reports on disbursements made; The manner of execution of subsidy programmes, including the amounts allocated and the details of beneficiaries of such programmes; As per Annual Budget. NOT APPLICABLE.
