Maintcon 2016 was a highly successful event attended by over 1000 professionals regional and global addressing all aspects of maintenance, reliability and asset management. The theme for Maintcon 2018 is Innovative Solutions in Maintenance, Reliability & Asset Management which offers industry practitioners and professionals a world class platform to meet and discuss the latest maintenance, reliability & asset management trends. The technical program features a lineup of regionally and internationally renowned speakers. They will be addressing a wide spectrum of current maintenance, reliability & asset management technologies, issues and challenges. The program will also address solutions to cost effectively minimize operational risks and ensure optimal asset performance. GSMR, previously GSMP was established in January 2010 by a dedicated team of maintenance professionals and reliability engineers from major companies around the GCC. Since inception GSMR has steadily grown with members from various organizations across the GCC. GSMR organizes regular activities including workshops, seminars, technical dinner meetings in addition to international conferences to engage its members and other professionals. GSMR has also collaborated with various regional and international professional & educational societies to ensure maximum exposure to its members. During the years, GSMR has organized numerous certification programs for its members and other professionals in the field of maintenance, reliability & asset management. 5 Call for Abstracts Abstracts are invited on the topics outlined and other subjects related to the theme of the conference. Abstracts should be submitted using our online submission form through our website Abstracts should clearly state the subject matter, the objectives and the important conclusions to be presented in the full paper and should not exceed 400 words in length. The abstract must include the title of the paper, the author s name(s) and the affiliation including the mailing and the addresses. Selection of papers will take into account the originality, relevance and likely interest to delegates. Guidelines for the submission of manuscripts for review and the preparation of the final draft will be communicated upon the acceptance of the abstract. If Organizers receives notice of cancellation by 30th April 2018 or before the issue of last conference brochure, the Sponsor/Exhibitor agrees to pay a cancellation charge of 20% of the invoice value as cancellation charges.
