One of the most intimidating aspects of networking is the issue of walking into a room full of strangers and having to think of something to say to start a conversation. This event will start off with a short show from Improv group Lower the Tone. The theme of the improv will be common networking and business scenarios. The attendees will be encouraged but not forced to participate by suggesting scenarios or themes for the actors to act out. After the improv piece a networking session will be facilitated by Paula Fitzsimons, National Director of the hugely successful Going for Growth Programme. Throughout her own career and her extensive work with fellow entrepreneurs and businesses, Paula has seen first hand the importance and value of networking. Her role on the night will be to ensure everyone gets involved while maintaining a relaxed and entertaining atmosphere. We will also have solved the problem of an ice breaker as you can all talk about the earlier performance. It will be a fun and informal evening which will allow you to comfortably work on your all important networking technique with Paula s guidance.
