5 Flash Appeal Flash Appeal extended until the end of September No overall budget increase Re-launch 29 May: Opportunity to for SC partners to revise/submit proposals Welcome new proposals, but keep in mind: Not a guarantee of funding Not all proposals can be approved Deadline for revisions/submissions: 26 May 6pm (Kathmandu time) 5

6 Flash Appeal: Key requirements Organisations that are already operational Project can be completed by end Sept Links directly to the Shelter Cluster Strategy and technical guidelines: Emergency / Self-recovery Shelter, Capacity Building, Key messaging Clear targeting (hard to reach/vulnerable groups), gender marker Accountability to beneficiaries 6

10 Shelter Assessment REACH: Assessments are ingoing: 8 districts completed by next week. All 14 districts completed within a month. Thank you to British Red Cross for financially supporting the expansion of the assessment Thank you to all the agencies who have steps up to support with vehicles and enumerators 10

11 Information Management Update Distributions List More than 400 accounts registered during the response Those who leaves are in the mailing list Need to create separate distribution list New list starting on 29 th june Those who has not registered, register in 11
