4 Helping Our Customers Create New and Exciting Products for 29 Years March 11, 1985: Incorporated in California as Coast Chemical, Inc. January 1998: Joseph C. Cimo appointed president. January 2003: Acquired Southwest Silicones in Grand Prairie, TX and began operations in Texas as Coast Southwest. August 2006: Opened our Salt Lake City, UT regional office and distribution center to serve the inter-mountain region. January 2007: Responsible Distribution Third-party Document Verification by NACD. September 2007: Opened our Phoenix regional office to serve Arizona and New Mexico. May 2008: Renamed the company Coast Southwest, Inc. May 2009: Responsible Distribution Third-party Site Verification by NACD. March 11, 2010: Coast Southwest marked our twenty-fifth year in business. June 2010: Re-established our Union City, CA regional office to serve Northern California and the Pacific Northwest. August 2012: Acquired Arlington, TX site to accommodate expanded operations. September 2013: Opened Arlington, TX facility and Innovation Center.
