The purpose of the event was to benefit KSU students in their professional development and goals. Station participants included the KJCK/KQLA/KSKG/KIA Sales Manager and the KQLA-FM Brand Manager. On April 1, 214 the stations participated in a Kansas Association of Broadcasters Student Seminar in Salina. The purpose of the event was to benefit broadcasting students in their professional development and goals. Station participants included the KSKG and KIA General Manager. On April 8, 214 the stations participated in a Kansas Weslyan University Career Expo at the Student Union on the campus of KWU. The purpose of the event was to benefit KWU students in their professional development and goals. Station participants included the KSKG/KIA General Manager and KSKG/KIA Sales Manager. Our stations periodically host college students for an internship at our facilities in Programming/ews/Promotions/Adverti sing Sales/Promotions, or All Departments/Comprehensive. Interns assigned to the ews internship receive experience and training in news coverage, news writing, photography, delivery of news headlines, newscasts, weather, remote board operations and news board operations.
