RECRUITMENT INITIATIVES Type of Recruitment Initiative (Menu Selection) 1 Management-level training regarding equal employment opportunity and preventing discrimination Brief Description of Activity On May 10, 2016, our SEU s Assistant Business Manager took part in an training webinar presented by Alpha s FCC counsel, Wiley Rein LLP, regarding compliance with the FCC s EEO rules entitled, The FCC s Equal Employment Opportunity Rules: The Nuts & Bolts for Alpha Media. 2 Internship Program Our internship program is designed to provide interested members of the community with the skills necessary for broadcast employment. During this reporting period our SEU hosted one student intern attending Iowa State University. This intern was supervised by our KAAN(AM)/-FM Program Director and assisted him with various studio and broadcast operations, including, but not limited to, reporting news, weather and marketing information, sports coverage and production studio recordings. 3 Participate in Job Fair On March 10, 2016, our SEU participated in the Northwest Missouri State University Spring Career Day sponsored by Northwest Missouri State University, which took place on the campus in Maryville, Missouri. SEU participants included our Market Manager and our KKWK/KMRN Sales Manager, who spoke with those in attendance about career opportunities in radio as well as job openings and internships within our SEU. 4 Participate in Job Fair On April 6, 2016, our SEU participated in the Central Decatur High School Career Day sponsored by Central Decatur School District, which took place at Leon, Iowa. SEU participants included our KAAN(AM)/-FM Program Director, who spoke with those in attendance about career opportunities in radio as well as job openings and internships within our SEU. 9

SEU participants included our KAAN(AM)/-FM Program Director, who spoke with those in attendance about career opportunities in radio as well as job openings and internships within our SEU. 10
