The Creative Services Director was a guest speaker at the Student Mass Media Conference Workshop at the historical black university, Savannah State. The Conference included a group of local media representatives that spoke to students on how to prepare for a career in the mass media industry. Establishment of an Spring 27 Internship Program. The intern program designed Station hosted one () student from to assist members of the Armstrong Atlantic State University in community the Sports/ews department for 8 weeks. Provision of training to management Hearst s Director of Veteran Recruiting visited the station on August 8th, 27, to provide training to hiring managers relating to the hiring of US Armed Forces veterans. Among the topics covered in the training session were: how to evaluate the past employment and duties of armed services personnel and the transferability or applicability of those skills and qualifications to a broadcast/newsgathering/digital business; the process and pipeline for identifying, interviewing, and attracting qualified candidates from the Armed Services pool; ensuring nondiscrimination in the consideration and hiring of veterans and periodic leave status; and common misconceptions about veteran employment.
