July 2012: Attended a meeting at the University of Pittsburgh hosted by three members of the Mathematics Education department. The meeting focused on different models of mathematics instruction (direct and dialogic) and led to a paper that was submitted to Educational Researcher in March : Helped organize and participated in a series of three meetings hosted by WSU that addressed necessary coursework for pre-service elementary teachers at various Massachusetts colleges and universities : Was a member of the Math-Science Elementary Teacher Curriculum Work Group, a part of the Mass Insight Education Great Schools Campaign.
