8 I was videotaped explaining my Mathematics of Games J-term course to be to be used at Loras during Iowa Private College Week I have written a couple of articles for the Lorian; one discussing my Mathematics of Games J-term course, one discussing my Liberal Arts experience. I have met with prospective students to talk about the math program at Loras. Divisional/Program Service Activities ( * indicates I was chair or lead organizer) I helped make math placements for incoming students. (Summer 2009 & 2010) Matt Rissler and I re-wrote the Mathematics Comprehensive exam to better reflect the material currently covered in our courses. (Spring 2010) I wrote a document spelling out exactly what the expectations for the math majors are now and exactly what their schedule of progress should be. I wrote up and distributed a document describing what is expected of both the advisor and advisee for Senior Papers. I also worked out the new bulletin entries for MAT 390 and 490, and the bulletin entries for our new extracurricular requirements for math majors. (Spring 10) I re-worked the prerequisite structure for math major classes. (Spring 2009) I developed (and have since maintained) a Math Majors/Minors web site on elearn. (Spring 2009) I coordinated Loras students traveling to local high schools to present on the benefits and joys of pursuing mathematics beyond high school. They gave several presentations at Senior High and Hempstead. (Fall 2009) I organized math major presentations to go out and recruit new math majors. (Fall 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011) I was Faculty Senator for the Division of Mathematics, Engineering, and Computer Science. (Fall 2008-present) I was on the Math Modeling Master Syllabus Committee. (Fall 2008-Fall 2009) I was on the Mathematics Search Committee to hire 2 new faculty. (Fall Spring 2008) I helped prepare for the 2008 Math Program External Review in several ways.
