Planning to connect Spring 2018 Crpytology class with PLACE. August 2017: ifocus mentor, Linfield College Facilitated workshops on doing research in mathematics as part of the interdisciplinary First year Orientation Camp for Undergraduate Sciences. June 2017: Inquiry Seminar Workshop, Linfield College Participated in a three day workshop focused on designing an Inquiry Seminar, and more generally, effectively implementing a writing component into courses. April 2017 to present: GEAR Network Membership Part of a network that brings together researchers in geometric structures and representation varieties. 4

5 October 2015 to present: Math Club Advisor, Linfield College Helped organize and promote events. Organized and facilitated a cryptology scavenger hunt. September 2015 to present: Ultimate Frisbee Club Advisor, Linfield College Help coach, provide drills, and practice with the Ultimate Frisbee Club. August 2015 to present: Project NExT Fellow Part of a professional development program for new or recent Ph.D.s in mathematics. Participated in numerous workshops focused on the teaching and learning of mathematics. March 2014 & Winter 2015: Math Circles Instructor & Co-organizer, Temple University Instructed two different math circles lessons. As an organizer for 2015, recruited instructors, updated the website, assisted instructors with planning, communicated with parents, and helped handle registration. September 2013 to May 2015: Math Club Advisor, Temple University Helped organize events and served as a student mentor for the undergraduate math club. Organized and facilitated a math Jeopardy game for Pi Day and a cryptology scavenger hunt for Halloween.
