From daily Mass devotees to seekers of Religious Education, our dedicated ministries, to the dedicated support of our Knights of Columbus, Catholic Daughters, Jovenes Para Cristo, Festival Committee, Rummage sale volunteers, Scrip Volunteers, and many others: St. Frances X. Cabrini Church (SFXC) is known as a family of Christian believers filled with faith and hope striving to bring God s love to all people through Word and action. As I reflect back on the past year and on my tenure with the parish, I am struck by what we have accomplished together and excited about our future. In the fall last year, we held our first mother Cabrini Celebration, our annual ministry fair to invite parishioners to join the many ministries that call SFXC home, our annual festival and various other fundraising events. The momentum sparked by these events show-cased our growth as a parish, which is evidenced not only by the 2266 families that call SFXC home, but in the increased demand for facilities: meeting space for our ministries, retreats, religious education, to name but a few. Your involvement in St. Frances X Cabrini this year has been such an inspiration to me. Thank you, as always, for continuing to be good stewards of the gifts God has entrusted to us and for making St. Frances Cabrini parish a welcoming place for all. Love and peace, Rev. 4 Solemnidad de Nuestro Señor Jesucristo, Rey del Universo 22 de Noviembre, Financial Overview These financial schedules present a summary of the key financial results of our parish for the fiscal year July June This was the sixth full fiscal year that we have been in the new church. Unfortunately total income reduced by $117,261 (8.5%) from the last fiscal year and was under budget by $157,816 (11.2%). In spite of our shortfall, thank you for your continued generosity and support and we hope to increase income for the upcoming fiscal year. The good news is that, we were able to decrease our overall expenses by $194,889 (12%) from last fiscal year and was under budget by $155,491 (9.8%). Overall our income statement was in the negative by ($169,775), a 31.4% improvement from last fiscal year. Mortgage Update The loan balance as of June 30, 2015 was $ 5,061,919. Our interest rate was adjusted quarterly at 2.5% above the LIBOR rate. However, for the year , our mortgage payments will be interest free. Therefore, everything we receive will be going straight towards the principal on our mortgage. Fiscal year July June 2015 Mortgage Appeal Income $ 347,093 Principal on Parish Debt $ 164,791 Interest paid on Parish Debt $ 171,651 Consistently meeting our obligation will allow us to pay off the mortgage by August 2026.
