Movie: Pride and Prejudice (1940) Mr. and Mrs. Bennet have 5 unmarried daughters and Mrs. Bennet is especially eager to find suitable husbands for them. But pride, prejudice, and misunderstandings all combine to complicate their relationships and to make happiness difficult. 8 Windowsill Herb Garden Workshop Join us with gardeners Mary Franklin and June Davidson in creating a lovely Herb Garden to take home. You will be able to harvest your herbs for all your favourite dishes. You will learn all about planting and taking care of your herbs and all supplies are included. We will have the opportunity to sample a variety of herbal chai, oolong and rooibos teas after our planting. Some of the menu items may include: grilled pineapple, tempura shrimp, mussels with black bean sauce, sushi and salmon just to name a few. There is a variety of desserts to choose from, coffee and tea are included as well. Guided Tour of Women, Art & Social Change: The Newcomb Pottery Enterprise at the Gardiner Museum Book on March 25 with Vacation Plus This exhibition tells the inspirational story of a group of women in the Deep South who achieved economic independence through making and selling pottery, and by establishing 7

9 Newcomb Pottery, one of the most iconic arts and crafts brands of the late 19 th and early 20 th centuries. 10 Victorian Tea and Tour at the Legislative Assembly of Ontario Book on March 25 with Vacation Plus Step back in time with our Victorian Tea and Tour Program! We will begin with a 45 minute guided tour through the Legislative Building exploring its history and traditions. After lunch we will hopefully discover the beautiful views of High k g f Sakura trees as well as Grenadier Pond and Hillside Gardens. The walk will be approximately 45 minutes to an hour along paved trails that can be steep in some places but the cherry blossoms are worth the extra effort.
