BIDDER QUESTIONS 1.05 Q: Door schedule on Sheet A1.2 indicates an add alternate for doors L001 & L002, but the bid form does not have a space for add alternates. A: The door hardware specification was developed by the Architect, in conjunction with WCPS, to ensure WCPS hardware standards are upheld for this project Q: The door schedule on Sheet A1.2 indicates L001 and L002 as Type B frame (pair of doors with a sidelight or a pair of doors and a single door) but L001 is shown as a single door. What is the single frame shown next to the pair? If it is a sidelight, please clarify glazing type. A: Doors L001 and L002 are both located within a single Type B frame as indicated on the Frame Types Q: Is glazing G-8 only in classroom door lites? WCPS Purchasing Department reviewed project requirements with attendees. These requirements included; A. All questions must be submitted via to WCPS no later than 4:30 pm on Thursday, March 3 rd. All questions asked during the meeting or the walk thru shall be submitted to WCPS. B. Bids are due no later than 2:00 PM on March 16 th at WCPS Downsville-Visitors. C. One (1) original and one (1) copy of the Bid Proposal required documents are to be submitted. D. This is not a wage scale project. Locally funded project. E. There are no MBE participation requirements but MBE participation is encouraged. F. A Bid Bond of 5% of the bid amount is due at the time of the bid. Lump sum, affidavit to be completed (all blanks filled in). G. Addenda will be posted electronically on the WCPS website. H. General Contractors are required to be pre-registered on the WCPS website. 2 part form Need access code from WCPS to finish form. I. Instructions for requesting product substitutions require a submission to the Architect at least 10 days prior to the bid date (AIA A701 Instructions).

Those requirements included; A. Notice of Award is tentatively scheduled for April 5, The apparent low bidder will be notified by WCPS for additional information. B. Construction anticipated commence when school lets out for summer. C. Substantial Completion date is August 2, D. The remainder of the facility will be occupied by the Owner during construction activities. E. The WCPS summer schedule consists of four 10 hour days. If Friday work is being considered by the Contractor, provisions are in Section , Article Attendees were provided the opportunity to tour the work areas. Additional site visits are to be coordinated through WCPS (Brad Otto) generally before or after school. Front Lobby Secured vestibule installing 2 doors, side by side, a double and single. Modify handrail as needed need transfer grille to Lobby for ductwork. There are no alternates on this project, Type B door is deleted. Budget is not being released. Door numbers on plan to be revised to correspond with Door Schedule. Please refer to Room No. for door Nos. on the plan. The above documents our understanding of the items discussed and decisions reached at the subject meeting.
