To study as a group to prepare for the STAAR & AP U.S. History Exam. To support by providing tutoring for 8th grade U.S. History students at Space Center Inter. to prepare for their STAAR exam. We also hold a fundraiser which is either like a kickball tournament, dodgeball, or flag football. We will use this money to either help support prom or give to a charity. We have to maintain a 4.5 GPA so it helps support the idea of a student athlete. We create a calendar will all sporting events on it and try to have as much students as possible come to all sporting events. FIRST, For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology, is an organization for inspiring young people to be science and technology leaders by engaging them in exciting mentor based programs that build science, engineering, and technology skills that inspire innovation, and that foster well rounded life capabilities including self confidence, communication, and leadership. The Mission of CCISD Robotics is to expose CCISD students to the field of engineering, provide hands on engineering opportunities, and increase awareness of engineering education throughout the Greater Houston community. Students use Latin club time to prepare for statewide contests in academics such as Roman or Greek history, ancient art, ancient geography, Latin or Greek vocabulary, and the like. In addition, our students compete in classically themed art and costume contests, such as photography, mosaics, and models.
