ITS recognizes the achievements of high school theatre students. This is an honors society for those students dedicated to the theatrical arts. Students participate in all of the Spring Hill High School productions as well as the community's productions to earn points towards membership in the prestigious society. Members of this club are given the honor of choosing the shows SHHS will perform each year as well as designing for them. ITS is a society for those who would like to be involved with the production process at SHHS as well as those dedicated to the theatrical arts. FBLA Tiffany Hutchinson thutchin@lexrich5.org The purpose of Future Business Leaders of America is to bring the world of business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs. FCA Lauren Brown lhbrown@lexrich5.org Fellowship of Christian Athletes is an organization that allows students to meet each other and fellowship while learning Christian values. The organization is open to all students. Fencing Andrew Collins acollins@lexrich5.org Will develop fencing skills through group instruction and individual lessons during weekly practices on Mondays from 3:45-5:15 in the SHHS gym. All students will begin with foil as a weapon; advanced students with an inclination to do so will have the opportunity to fence epee. Photography Club James Steck Learn about exposure, light, composition, style, portraits, studio, landscape, family, pet photographs Psi Kappa Sigma National Honor Society for Science Lisa Ruth To encourage and recognize scientific and intellectual thought. To advance students' knowledge of classical and modern science. To communicate with the science community. Recycling Lisa Ruth To promote making a difference in our school community with recycling, reducing waste, saving energy and conserving resources. In addition to the long-range benefits of good environmental stewardship, green policies help provide healthier surroundings for our students and staff. Rugby Viv Carlick Vcarlick@sc.rr.com The object of the Club shall be to encourage the introduction, teaching, and promotion, understanding, and playing of Rugby in Spring Hill, South Carolina. The Club is committed to encouraging the highest ethical standards. All individuals involved in the Club should conduct themselves with integrity, transparency, accountability and in a fair and equitable manner consistent with the SCHSR Policies & Procedures and Participation Agreement. Sailing Club Michele Ziehl To teach those interested how to sail and give them the opportunity to go sailing on Lake Murray

5 Save Our Oceans Lisa Ruth Educate the student body about our oceans and raise awareness about how we protect it. Science Team Wendy Rauch The Science Team competes in Science competitions and fosters learning in the Sciences for members and all students enrolled at SHHS. Société Honoraire de Français French Honor Society Rebecca Davis Students who have completed at least 2 years of French and maintained an A average are invited to join the Honor Society. We participate in cultural activities throughout the year as well as service projects. Spring Hill All Stars (SHAS) Lamar Clark Lamar.clark22@yahoo.com The Spring Hill All Stars are a competitive cheer club. SHAS are not sanctioned under High School League Sports. SHHS Dance Company Emily McClain eanzalon@lexrich5.org The Spring Hill Dance Company is an audition based dance ensemble, modeled after the dance studio setting. The group attends rehearsals weekly in which they study various styles of dance including ballet, jazz, lyrical, modern, and hip-hop. During these rehearsals, they also learn and perfect choreography that they compete and perform throughout the year. Some performances opportunities include local and regional competitions, pep rallies, Chapin Labor Day Parade and Chapin Champion, Capital City Dance Team Championships, District Dance Day, as well as the fall and spring dance showcases at Spring Hill High School. The dance company is a close knit group that also joins in on social activities together. Students in this club are given the opportunity to earn points to membership in the National Honor Society for Dance Arts. SHHS Young Life Zack Brady zack.brady@reliant.org Young Life is a Christian organization that exists to introduce students to Jesus and create a safe place to wrestle with questions about faith/life
