1 Alumni Weekend 2017 June 1-4 Please note that this schedule and listed locations are tentative and subject to change. Thursday, June 1, a.m. 6 p.m. Alumni Weekend Registration Center 11 a.m. F&M Golf Outing Join fellow alumni and friends for an afternoon of golf at the Four Seasons Golf Club, this par 70 mature course is easy to walk and visually appealing. Four Seasons is just a short 6.6 miles from campus in Landisville. Registration is limited, $50 includes a round of golf, cart and box lunch. Registration closes May Church Street, Landisville 11:30 a.m. 2p.m. Welcome Back Luncheon in the Dining Hall Informal and fun. This isn t the dining hall you remember more variety, more healthy alternatives (if you want it!) and ice cream and none of those big trays to lug around. Show your F&M pride and your true colors. 8 9:30 a.m. Squash Breakfast and Alumni Matches Stop in to celebrate 50 years of Squash with an informal continental breakfast and alumni Squash matches. 8:30 9:30 a.m. Flapjack Fest hosted by the Alumni Association Board Two F&M traditions! The Flapjack has been a staple of finals week since the late 90 s. Your F&M Alumni Association Board, a bit longer tradition at 177 years! Stop by and meet the members of the Board and grab some flapjacks, and coffee No exams required!" 8:30 10 a.m. Nevonian Induction Breakfast Join the celebration as we honor the 50 th Reunion Class of 1967 and observe their induction into the Nevonian Society. The Blue & White Singers will perform the College fight songs, a rousing conclusion to the breakfast and a fitting salute as you begin your Reunion Weekend. 9:30 10:30 a.m. Reunion Class Photos Celebrate your milestone! Join your class for a group picture in front of Old Main. The picture is one of the great keepsakes of the weekend. Please assemble with your class on Manning Green. Your class will be called to the risers in front of Old Main at the scheduled time! 5 Noon 1:30 p.m. Alumni Weekend Picnic Enjoy a traditional down-home barbeque, conversation with friends and music by the Jazz Me Band. Food, friends and music F&M just like you remembered! 12:30 2:30 p.m. Good Humor Ice Cream Truck The Alumni Association Board is bringing ice cream to campus! The Good Humor Ice Cream Truck comes to Hartman Green. Stop by the truck and enjoy a variety of Good Humor ice cream treats courtesy of the Alumni Association Board of F&M, 1:30 2:30 p.m. Squash Open House Meet the Squash coach and tour the Squash facility. 1:30-3:30 p.m. Little Dippers Carnival Families are invited to gather on the Green for fun in the sun! Facepainting, spin art, snocones, hula hoops and more. Join in on the games and activities brought to you by OSPGD s Alumni Advising & Development Division. 1:30 4 p.m. Black Cultural Center Open House All are welcome to stop by and reconnect with friends and classmates. Members of Posse and IMPACT should plan to stop in to meet and greet with members of their cohort. Light refreshments will be available. 1:30-4 p.m. Campus Open House Campus is open. Feel free to visit some of the newest buildings on campus or just walk through the some of those buildings that bring back memories of your years at F&M. 6 3 4:30 p.m. Celebrating Squash at F&M Reception. Gather with fellow Squash alumni and friends to celebrate Squash at F&M 50 years for Men s team and over 40 years for the Women s team. Join players from the Class of 1967, the first men s squash team, as we honor teams and coaches of the past and present! 4:30 6 p.m. President's Reception President Daniel R. Porterfield, Ph.D. hosts a reception for all alumni and their families, F&M faculty and coaches. Dedicated reception area for 5 th and 50 th 6 11 p.m. Blue & White Bash Childcare Childcare is available for children ages 3 and older. Box dinner included. Registration required. 6:30 p.m. Alumni Weekend Blue & White Bash An all alumni and guest celebration with great food and beverages. Enjoy the sounds of the Ken Gehret Duo during dinner and then dance the night away with the music of the Uptown Band, playing the best 60 s, 70 s, 80 s and 90 s music. Grab your classmates and head to the photo booth to capture your memories and don t miss the chocolate fountains! Year after year, the best dessert bar around! Alumni are seated by class and decade so you can catch up with old and new friends and share in the F&Mily tradition p.m. Quiet Gathering Need a break from the music and celebration, you can find it in a relaxing space not too far from the action. Coffee and Dessert available. 8:30 11:30 p.m. F&M Photobooth Visit the F&M Photobooth at the Blue & White Bash to take home commemorative photos with a selection of Franklin & Marshall gear and props.
