1 The Academics Schedule Planning Tips You ll notice that the day begins with a brief welcome session followed by an Academic Experience at 10:15 a.m. Your personal academic experience is designed to provide facetime with the academic college or program to which you were admitted here at CSU. This is your chance to learn more about your college, ask questions, and meet future classmates. Pro tip: Check your admit materials to find out which major and college you belong to. The Breakout Sessions It s called Choose CSU for a reason because we want you to pick the sessions that interest you the most! After the Academic Experience, you get to build your day however you want from various lunch options to visiting with different booths at the Information and Resource Fair, to choosing from a variety of breakout sessions that cover everything from campus recreation to financial aid to the Honors program. Pro tip: Remember to plan your day (and your steps) efficiently by using the Choose CSU map on the back page. The Other Fun Stuff Between the Academic Experience and other sessions, there s plenty to see and do here at Choose CSU. But the fun doesn t stop there. Other ways to make the most out of your day include filling out your RAMGO photo challenge to win CSU swag, visiting with our beloved mascot CAM the Ram, and even affirming your future as a part of the Ram Family by making your deposit. Pro tip: Don t know where to start? Don t worry. Your event program will feature a number of fun things to see and do while you re visiting campus. Questions? Contact us at AdmissionsEvents@colostate.edu 1
