1 ARMY RECRUITING OFFICE PALAMPUR (HP) ARMY RECRUITMENT RALLY FOR CHAMBA AND KANGRA (HP) 12 OCT 2018 TO 23 OCT 2018 ONLINE REGISTRATION IS MANDATORY AND WILL BE OPEN FROM 22 AUG 2018 TO 05 OCT Army Recruitment Rally will be held for eligible candidates of districts of Chamba and Kangra from 12 Oct Oct 2018 at Police Ground, Chamba (HP). Online registration is mandary and will be open from 22 Aug Oct Admit Cards for the rally will be sent through after last date of registration. Candidates should reach the venue on given date and time as mentioned in the Admit Card. Gates will be open at 02:00 AM and will be closed by 06:00 AM on each rally day. 2. Candidates will be screened for following categories and as per Qualitative Requirements mentioned below. Percentage waiver for higher qualification i.e 10+2 and above is applicable only for aggregate marks in Class X but 33% marks in individual subject in Class X is mandary / Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, and Science) with 60 % marks in aggregated and minimum 50% in each subject. Should have studied and passed English and Maths / Accounts / Book Keeping in Class X of Class XII with 50 % marks in each subject. Note Even if a candidate is a Graduate or has a higher qualification, % marks in 12 th would be applicable wards his eligibility.

OR In case the candidate has BSc Degree with (Botany/Zoology/Bio Science) and English the stipulation of percentage in Class 12 th is waived off. However the candidate should have studied all the four specified subject in class 12 th also.

(ii) Bonus marks will be accorded on qualifying in the written examination. (iii) Only one ward of SOS/SOEX/SOW/SOWW can avail bonus marks in written examination. (iv) Maximum bonus marks that can be given is 20 marks even if a candidate qualifies for more than one type of bonus marks. (v) Validity period of Sports Cert will be within two years on the date of screening. 3. Candidates will be tested as stated below: Physical Fitness Test (PFT) (At Rally Site) 1.6 Km Run Beam (Pull Ups) 9 Feet Ditch Group Marks Pull Ups Marks Need Group I Up 5 Min 30 Sec qualify 9 33 Group II 5 Min 31 Sec 5 Min Sec ZigZag Balance Need qualify Remarks For following cats, candidates only need qualify in PFT. Mks obtained in PFT will not be considered while finalizing final Merit: Sol Clk/SKT Sol Tech & Sol NA Veterinary Physical Measurement (PMT) (At Rally Site) Physical measurement will be carried out as per the Physical standards listed at Para 2 above. Medical Test (a) As per laid down medical standards at the Rally Site. (b) Unfit candidates will be referred MH Palampur and 167 MH, Pathankot for specialist review. Candidates referred specialist review should present themselves the nominated MH within 14 days of the referral and report back ARO for issue of Admit Card for CEE in case declared FIT.

4 4 Written Test through Common Entrance Examination (CEE) (a) Will be conducted for medically fit candidates at nominated venue. Location date and time of written test will be intimated at rally site and through Admit Cards. (b) Admit Card for the CEE for the Rally Fit candidates will be issued at Rally Site. (c) Admit Card for the CEE for Review Fit cases will be issued after getting medically fit by concerned specialists at MH Palampur and 167 MH, Pathankot. 4. Candidates are required bring following documents/certificates in original with two self attested phocopies with them the rally site: (a) Admit Card. Printed on Laser Printer on good quality paper (Do not Shrink the size). (b) Phographs. Twenty copies of unattested Passport size colour phographs developed on good quality phographic paper in white background not more than three months old. Computerised / phoshopped phographs will NOT be accepted (c) Education Certificates. (i) Education Certificates with marks sheet in original of all educational qualifications achieved by candidate i.e Matric / Intermediate / Graduation etc from recognized School / College / Board / University. (ii) Provisional/online education certificate should be certified ink signed by the head of the educational institution of concerned Board/ university. (iii) Candidates with matric certificate from Open School should ring School Leaving Certificate countersinged by BEO/DEO. (d) Domicile Certificate. Domicile Certificate with phograph issued by Tehsildar/District Magistrate. (e) Caste Certificate. Caster Certificate affixed with phograph of the candidate issued by the Tehsildar/District Magistrate. (f) Religion Certificate. Religion Certificate issued by the Tehsildar/SDM (if religion as SIKH / HINDU /MUSLIM /CHRISTIAN is not mentioned in caste certificate). (g) School Character Certificate. School Character Certificate issued by the School / College / Principal / Headmaster. (h) Character Certificate. Character Certificate with phograph issued by Tehsildar/District Magistrate with last six month. (j) Unmarried Certificate. Unmarried Certificate for candidates less than 21 years of age with phographs issued by Village Sarpanch / Municipal Corporation within last six month. (k) Relationship Certificate. SOS / SOEX / SOW / SOWW Candidates are required produce the following documents: (i) Relationship certificate issued from respective Record Office only duly signed by Record Officer with Personal number, Rank, Name and particular of the Records Officer issuing the Relationship Certificate with office seal / stamp is endorsed.

5 5 (ii) A declaration the affect as mentioned below in Affidavit on Ten Rupees Non Judicial Stamp paper prepared by the ESM duly signed by 1 st Class / Executive / Judicial Magistrate is required be submitted by the candidate at rally site. The ESM will mention particular of all sons including name, date of birth and their employment / occupation in the affidavit and declare that I am willing avail SOEX benefits for only one son name, whose Date of Birth is. I have not availed SOS / SOEX benefits for another son earlier, if may statement is found face / wrong at later stage, legal action can be initiated against me besides candidature of my son will be cancelled by the military authority. I shall never challenge for the same in the Hon ble Court of Law. (iii) Original Discharge Book of Exservicemen also be produced. Name and date of birth of the candidate must have been recorded in it. (l) NCC Certificate. NCC A / B / C certificate and Republic Day Parade certificate should have phograph of the candidate duly attested by issuing authority. Provisional NCC A / B / C pass certificates will only be accepted if authenticated by concerned NCC Group Commanders. (m) Sports Certificate. (i) Sportsmen who have represented India at International level and State at National level within the last two years. For list of sports under which relaxation in physical standards is admissible attention is invited website. (ii) Sportsmen who have represented District at State level and University team or regional team at District level with 1 st / 2 nd position within last two years. Sports certificates should be with registration number and from govt recognized sports institutes/bodies as under : (aa) All Sr/Jr National Championship certificates Respective National Federation. (ab) All State & Dist level certificates Respective State Sports Association. (ac) All University level certificate Inter University Sports Board. (ad) All School level certificates All India School Games Federation. (n) Affidavit. Duly signed by candidates on Rs 10/ NonJudicial Stamp Paper as per specimen duly attested by notary will be submitted by all candidates. (o) Single Bank A/c, PAN Card & AADHAR Card. Single Bank A/C, PAN Card & Aadhar Card are mandary documents for final enrolment for purpose of Pay & Allowance and other social benefits scheme. (p) Death Cert/ Legal documents/ Affidavit from class one magistrate in case mother/ father dead/ separate/ missing/ Divorce.

6 6 5. Special Instructions. (a) Candidates are allowed take part one category only during recruitment rally. (b) Suggestion and complaint or recruitment can be submitted in writing by candidate through suggestion box held with Grievance Cell/Army Recruiting Office, Palampur (HP). (c) Candidates using unfair means will be disqualified and punitive action will be taken against them. FIR will be lodged against candidates caught using unfair means at any stage. Important Instructions 6. Administration Candidates are advised bring sufficient eatables and drinking water with them since recruitment is a time consuming process. 7. Candidates will be permitted entry in the rally site only on production of Admit Card in duplicate generated online through the official website Anyone found with fake admit card will be handed over Civil Police. 8. Recruitment in the Army is a free service. Candidates are advised not pay bribe anyone for Recruitment as it is based purely on merit. Selection process during recruitment at all stage is computerized and transparent. Therefore, candidates are advised be beware of uts as they cannot held them at any stage. 9. Candidates are advised check their age & education criteria before participating in the rally. Candidates found under age/overage and not meeting education criteria will be disqualified. 10. Giving/taking bribe, production of bogus/fake certificate and indulging in unfair means is a criminal offence and liable for punishment under law. 11. Certificates with overwriting, tampering of seals or erasing/alteration of any type will not be accepted. 12. All documents submitted by the candidates are verified by government agencies before enrolment in Army Strong legal action will be taken against individuals submitting fake documents. Even after recruitment, the service will be terminated if candidates are found have produced fake documents are gave wrong information at the time of recruitment, despite the number of years of service individual may have rendered. 13. No compensation for Death/Injury/loss etc during the rally and no travelling allowance/dearness allowance for journey is admissible. Candidate will participate in the rally at their risk and the participation is tally and entirely voluntary. 14. Use of Performance Enhancing Drugs. Use of any kind of performance enhancing drugs is strictly banned Candidates having been found have used the same will be debarred from further screening. 15. Tao. Permanent body tatos are only permitted on inner face of forearms i.e Form inside of elbow the wrist and on the reverse side of palm/back (dorsal) side of hand. Permanent body tatos on any part of the body are not acceptable and candidate will be barred from further selection.

7 7 16. If 180 days or more lapse between screening medical at the rally and dispatch, medical will be done again and unfit candidates in this review will not be recruited. 17. Selection is provisional till Rahdari Certificate is issued and candidates are dispatched for training. 18. Mobile phones are not permitted in the rally site. 19. Candidates are advised in their own interest undergo medical exam before coming for selection especially with respect flat foot, poor vision, deformities and physical measurements. All are advised ensure that their ears are free of wax by getting it cleaned by a docr. 20. Candidates may have present themselves at rally site for three four days. Candidates should make arrangements for stay under their own arrangements. 21. Negative marking would be applicable in CEE. 22. Result of written examination will be declared on the official website No separate letter will be sent the candidates.
