6 DES Vehicle Registration Vehicle registration is a USAREUR program based on US/DE SOFA agreement. - It is a GERMAN system, not U.S. - The system updates insurance records daily o/a 1400, and registration records at The system is suspended after 1530 USAREUR Vehicle Registrar office will NOT permit transactions at locations where your service members aren t assigned. We currently have two vacancies in this office for Local National Hire. Vehicle Inspection (LRC) is separate from Vehicle Registration (DES) POC: DES Operations, DSN

7 DES Vehicle Registration Common Issues Long waits - Attributed to underutilized appointment line - Personnel waiting to the last day of valid registration or PCS. Registration status must be current for all vehicles (regardless of type, no expirations or suspensions) Spouse MUST be listed in order to reregister Non-Op Transfers multiple transaction requirement - Seller needs to bring vehicle to current Non-Op status or Fully Registered before transfer - Transfer continuing Non-Op status requires Buyer to apply for Non-Op extension - May require new vehicle inspection and need for a 1-day Temporary plate - Transfers do NOT restart the 1-yr clock on Non-Op status POC: DES Operations, DSN

21 Medical Department Activity-Bavaria Tricare Take Command THE MOVE TO TRICARE SELECT On Jan. 1, 2018, existing TRICARE Standard and TRICARE Extra beneficiaries were converted to TRICARE Select. #takecommand Preferred provider organization, or PPO, style plan Replaced TRICARE Standard and TRICARE Extra New active duty family members were enrolled in TRICARE Select if they live outside of a Prime Service Area or overseas Changing to TRICARE Select does not decrease coverage

22 MEDDAC-Bavaria Tricare Take Command ENROLLMENT CHANGES TRICARE has introduced an Open Enrollment Season that begins in November During open enrollment season, you will be able to change your TRICARE enrollment to another TRICARE health plan or do nothing and stay in the same health plan. Outside of the Open Enrollment Season, you may only change health plans within 90 days of a Qualifying Life Event (QLE), such as getting married or divorced, having a baby, or moving. Newborns and adoptees must be registered in DEERs within 90 days in the U.S. and 120 days overseas All newborns must be enrolled in a plan within 90 days of their registration in DEERS You may enroll and disenroll in TRICARE health plans at any time during the enrollment grace period between Jan. 1, 2018 and Dec. 1, 2018.

(DPW) What is being done about the trash left in the recycling areas in Netzaberg? Does NOT affect: Active Duty Service Members (ADSMs) Dependent survivors of ADSMs & medically retired service members and their dependents. Copayments are increasing ONLY across the retail and home delivery points of service. Beneficiaries still have a $0 copay for all formulary drugs at military pharmacies. 4
