6 About THE Exam Based on the performance in FIITJEE Talent Reward Exam, Students will get to know their Rank Potential Index (RPI) / Success Potential Index (SPI) which will help them know what they can achieve and bridge the gap between desire & aspiration. Students will also get suggestions to plug loopholes so that they can plan their study schedule and improve upon their shortcomings to perform to their optimum on the Competitive Entrance Exam day. Students of each of the Classes V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X & XI securing a Rank in Top 500 will get a Certificate of Achievement and will also get Online Doubt Removal Support to help them in their preparation, even without joining FIITJEE. Cash Scholarships, Fee Waivers for FIITJEE Programs and Hostel Fee Waivers for Class VIII, IX, X & XI will be decided on the basis of combined performance in Paper 1 (60% weightage) & Paper 2 (40% weightage) and subject to scoring above minimum cut-off marks in each subject of both Papers. The final discretion in this case will remain with the respective FIITJEE Centre Head / Centre Coordinator. Decision will be based on the performance of that school in JEE Advanced, JEE Main, KVPY, Olympiads, SAT and NTSE in the previous years. 19 Registration Information How to Register Online Registration : 1. First of all an account (a parent or a Studnet account) has to be created. If student is registering himself / herself, create a student account and if parent / Guardian is doing a registration for his / her ward, please create a parent account. A parent can register more than one child from his / her account. 2. If you are already enrolled in a FIITJEE program, please click Add Enrollment Number link to add your Enrollment Number. If you are found eligible for a waiver, the system will calculate your Registration Fee accordingly. 3. Update the profile of the student you wish to register. 4. Click on New Registration Link and fill the details like Test / Exam Name, Date, Centre and other relevant fields. 5. Choose one of the following fee payment options (If the fee payable is not zero) i. Direct Payment on Website using (Master / Visa) Credit / Debit Card You can use any bank s Credit / Debit card which is enabled for online transaction. Your Hall ticket will be issued instantaneously. You can also download it at a later stage from the past registration sections on the website. ii. ii. Online Funds Transfer (NEFT) - If you choose this payment option, the website will generate a unique account number for you, where you have to transfer funds using NEFT. 21 Terms & Conditions Note 1 : Cash Scholarships, Fee Waivers for FIITJEE Programs and Hostel Fee Waivers for Class VIII, IX, X & XI will be decided on the basis of combined performance in Paper 1 (60% weightage) & Paper 2 (40% weightage) and subject to scoring above minimum cut-off marks in each subject of both Papers. Students must appear in both Papers (Paper 1 & Paper 2) to become eligible for Cash Scholarships / Program Fee Waivers / Hostel Fee waivers. In case of Class V, VI & VII, Fee Waivers for FIITJEE Programs and Hostel Fee Waivers will be decided on the basis of performance in the Paper and subject to scoring above minimum cut-off marks in each subject of the Paper. Once a Student enrolls in a FIITJEE Program through FIITJEE s Talent Reward Exam / Admission Test etc. and he / she reappears in any future FIITJEE s Test then he / she will not be eligible to claim any Scholarship through the latter Test. However, Scholarship based on Scholastic Achievement in KVPY / Olympiads / NTSE / JSTSE / MTSE / SSTSE / X Board / XII Board will remain applicable, but the Student can only claim the Scholarship higher amongst the two - i.e. either the Scholarship based on FIITJEE s Talent Reward Exam / Admission Test etc. or the Scholarship based on Scholastic Achievement (already availed scholarship amount will be deducted from the same). All disputes and differences of any nature with regard to the FTRE, subsequent enrollment and studies shall be referred to the Sole Arbitrator appointed by the Management of FIITJEE Ltd. The Arbitration proceedings shall be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996 and Statutory modification thereof and rules made thereunder. The award of the arbitrator shall be final & binding. The arbitrator so appointed shall not be incapacitated for reasons of their being the employee of FIITJEE Ltd. or its sister concern, and for reasons of having any prior linkage with the company. The seat of arbitration will be Delhi. All the parties - Student / parents / guardian & FIITJEE agree that they shall not commence or maintain any action in a court of law relating to FTRE, subsequent enrollment & studies at FIITJEE except for enforcement of the arbitral award. All parties waive any right to appeal. This is needed for speedy redressal of issues & all parties agree to this. Note 15 (b): Subject to 15 (a) herein above, the exclusive Jurisdiction in the matter shall vest in Delhi / New Delhi Courts only. General Terms & Conditions Note 1 : No Student can appear in FIITJEE admission test (including FIITJEE Talent Reward Exam) more than twice in one academic year. 28 About Fortunate 40 Fortunate 40 A social initiative by FIITJEE to help the economically deprived Selection Test: Sunday 8th February, 2015 Taking the initiative of helping the economically underprivileged to a larger level, in the year 2008, FIITJEE constituted FORTUNATE 40 A program to provide world-class training to serious Students from financially weaker backgrounds to achieve their goal of success & Top Ranks in IIT-JEE and Other Competitive Exams. The program will financially support capable Students presently studying in Class VIII (going to IX) & Class X (going to XI) whose total parental income is less than Rs. 10,000/- per month. FIITJEE will support these meritorious Students in their preparation for achieving their dream goal by awarding scholarships for FIITJEE programs & waivers on hostel charges. For Integrated School Program the school fee will be charged from the Student (at some locations scholarship on school fee may also be awarded). The FORTUNATE 40 batch for each program, at each location, will have a maximum of 40 Students only. Students will have to appear for a selection test on 8th February, There is no registration fee for the selection test. To be eligible for the FORTUNATE 40 batch, Students have to clear the individual subject cut-offs & also the grand total cut-off. Selected Students will be notified and admitted to the program with scholarships. The final discretion on award of scholarship in each case will remain with FIITJEE and this decision will be final and binding on the candidate. Who can apply? Aspirants of JEE Advanced, 2017 {(Students presently in X (going to XI in 2015)} & Aspirants of JEE Advanced, 2019 {(Students presently in viii (going to IX in 2015)} Last date to apply : Sunday 1st February, 2015 Fee for Test : Nil Eligibility to appear in Selection Test 1. The Student should be presently studying in Class VIII / X and be an aspirant of JEE Advanced, 2019 / JEE Advanced, Student should be from Central Government School, State Government school for under privileged section of society for example Students studying in Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti Schools. The total parental income should be less than Rs. 10,000/- per month. Other Students (studying in public / private schools) may also apply, however their application will be considered on case to case basis and on the discretion of the management. 25
