2 Dickinson State University Merit Based Scholarship Overview Centennial Merit Scholarships 1. Entering students must submit required Admissions documents to be conditionally accepted or a. Domestic, First Year Student minimum of a 3.5 cumulative GPA and 24 ACT. b. International, First Year Student minimum of 81 TOEFL. c. These test scores will qualify in place of the ACT or TOEFL: minimum of 1090 SAT, 520 SAT Writing, 7.5 IELTS, or 7 WritePlacer. d. This merit scholarship must be accepted within 30 days of the offer notice. Heritage Merit Scholarships 1. Entering students must submit required Admissions documents to be conditionally accepted or a. Domestic, First Year Student minimum of a 3.25 cumulative GPA and 22 ACT. b. International, First Year Student minimum of 76 TOEFL. c. These test scores will qualify in place of the ACT or TOEFL: minimum of 1020 SAT, 480 SAT Writing, 7 IELTS, or 6 WritePlacer. d. This merit scholarship must be accepted within 30 days of the offer notice. Cornerstone Merit Scholarships 1. Entering students must submit required Admissions documents to be conditionally accepted or a. Domestic, First Year Student minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA and 20 ACT. b. International, First Year Student minimum of 71 TOEFL. c. These test scores will qualify in place of the ACT or TOEFL: minimum of 940 SAT, 440 SAT Writing, 6.5 IELTS, or 5 WritePlacer. d.
