2 Ronald J. Mahoney Kinetic Scholarship Program Each year Kinetic Credit Union presents the Ronald J. Mahoney Kinetic Scholarship to a deserving high school senior. This scholarship honors Kinetic Credit Union who has established a reputation of excellence and exceptional service to the members and the community and to Ronald J. Mahoney who dedicated a part of his life to serve the needs of Kinetic Credit Union. Mr. Mahoney was committed to excellence and service as demonstrated by his dedication to our credit union and community projects. Kinetic will present two $2,500 scholarships to the students who best demonstrate the same commitment to excellence and service in his or her academic studies, service and involvement in the community. Scholarship Requirements: Applicant must be a member of Kinetic Credit Union. Applicant must be a graduating senior from high school in the spring of the year of the scholarship. Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA). In order to be considered for this scholarship, the applicant must submit a complete application package. A complete application package consists of: 1. The application (Please be sure to read the application carefully, complete all sections and sign it.) 2. Copy of your most current high school transcript 3. Copy of your acceptance letter to the college, university or technical school you will attend. 4. A recommendation letter from: Your Principal Your Counselor A Community Leader (Could be your minister or supervisor from a community project you have participated in.) The winners will be announced before the end of each current school year. Applicants will be notified of his or her application status immediately.
