An Activity-Based Women s Cardiac Support Group The goal of this activity-based women s cardiac support group is to foster understanding, care, and encouragement in coping with heart disease and/ or a cardiovascular event, such as heart attack. Our hope is that women will gain greater ease in living with cardiovascular disease. Call Kidney Smart and Dialysis Classes Kidney Smart is a free, provider neutral educational program for all Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) patients. The goal of Kidney Smart education is to empower patients with knowledge so that they can the best choices about their kidney health and treatment with their doctor. Did you know that there is more than one type of dialysis? For those patients who may be preparing to start dialysis or need a kidney transplant, we talk about types of dialysis available to you and options to consider when you speak to your doctor. These classes are best for patients who are affected by kidney disease, or those who have a family history of kidney disease.
