1 CONTEST RULES AND CONDITIONS GUEST INNOVATION MODE FOR LOPESAN CUSTOMERS DURING 2016 THINK IN INNOVATION by LOPESAN A.- SUBJECT With the aim of becoming a reference in innovation, LOPESAN HOTEL GROUP, through its company Interhotelera Española, S.A., invites all its customers with bookings of accommodation and/or services during the year 2016, to participate in the development of ideas which may contribute to giving more value to the company. With this aim the hotel group initiates a contest through which innovative ideas are presented, for all processes aimed to the company s improvement, where new technologies play a fundamental roll. B.- SCOPE Prizes will be given to projects containing solutions for the challenges posed and belonging to the following categories: Changing the intermediation model. How to capture more direct guests. Speeding up the internal company processes, eliminating bureaucracy; zero paper. More and improved communication. New media to reach population. Improvement of professionalism on the Canarian tourist sector. Development of a complementary quality offer. Application of Big Data at Lopesan Group. Improvement of guest-hotel connectivity.

2 Projects must contain innovative ideas with a description and development level showing their possible practical application, although it s not necessary that they include a detailed and specific development. Projects may not be used or presented for any other kind of contest, neither of the Lopesan Hotel Group, nor of others. Projects must be original and unedited. Lopesan Hotel Group may not be held responsible for any legal claim or requirement related to the projects presented on the occasion of this contest. C.- PARTICIPANTS Participation is free of charge and voluntary. All persons aged over 18 who were accommodated or have effectively booked rooms or services at one of the hotels or centres of Lopesan Hotel Group during the period of January 1 st to December 31 st, 2016, may participate in this contest. Ideas may only be presented on an individual basis. Each participant may present a maximum of three proposals. The same participant may not receive more than one prize, even if he or she has presented projects or ideas for different categories. D.- PRESENTATION Participants must fill in all fields of the inscription form enclosed on the web page, to be found at the following link: Once proposals have been received, they will be published anonymously in an event of the official THINK IN INNOVATION Facebook page; this event will have the name of the corresponding participation mode: News regarding participation will be published in social networks. The Jury reserves the right to not publish an idea sent by a participant if its content is not original or unedited or if it contains illicit, illegal, degrading or obscene information or information violating moral principles, public order or the generally accepted social rules. Furthermore the Jury reserves the right to justifiably eliminate any participant who defrauds, alters or disables the good functioning and the normal course of this contest. E.- ADMISSION PERIOD AND JUDGEMENT The period for project presentation starts on September 1 st, 2016, at 08:00 hrs. and ends on October 15 th, 2016, before 23:59 hrs.

3 The Jury s judgement will be sent to the participants by message on October 31 st, The definite list of winners will also be published on the website of THINK IN INNOVATION at the following address: and in the social networks of Think in Innovation. F.- JURY AND VALUEING CRITERIA The Jury will be composed of the Corporate Directors of LOPESAN HOTEL GROUP; it will be distributed as follows: Chairman: Mr. Francisco López Sánchez Members of the Board of Directors: Mrs. Gloria Muñoz Mr. Ignacio Bernaldo de Quirós Mr. Pablo Lorenzo Mr. Antonio Rodríguez Mr. José Alba Mrs. Lourdes Negro. Secretary: Mr. Oscar Herrera Piñero. The Secretary s duty is to convene and to prepare the Jury s decisions distributing all the necessary documents for the analysis of projects. Furthermore it is the Secretary s duty to take the minutes of the meetings held, as well as to distribute and to file them. The Jury will hold as many meetings as necessary, depending on the presented projects; the meetings have always to be previously convened by the Secretary. Depending on the Jury s criteria, in some cases the presence of other persons may be required in order to provide knowledge and express opinions about the project which is being analysed. In order to issue a judgement, the Jury must take into account the following aspects: 85% of the score will be obtained according to the following criteria: - Innovation of the product, service or process - Development level of the project - Competitive advantages offered in the project - Financial viability of the project 15% of the score will be obtained by the impact received for the candidacy through the option Like in the event on the official website of THINK IN INNOVATION, corresponding to the Guest Innovation mode, accessible on Facebook. The Jury s decisions will be collegiate; they will be taken by simple majority of the members. In case of tied votes, the Chairman will have the casting vote. The Jury s decisions are not subject to appeal neither by the project s author nor by third persons. G.- INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY The participant accepts that the project to be developed in the Think in Innovation event will be licenced intellectually with a Creative Commons licence of the recognition type described in the following, for its use by Interhotelera Española, S.A. Putting your projects under a Creative Commons license does not mean that they do not have a copyright. This type of licence offers rights to third persons under certain conditions. In this event, projects will be registered with the following type:

4 Recognition (by): Any use of the project is allowed, including commercial purposes, as well as the creation of derived projects, the distribution of which is allowed without any restriction. For more information: Furthermore, participants of this contest authorize Interhotelera Española, S.A. to publish in THINK IN INNOVATION, accessible on Facebook, the contents of their projects, in an anonymous way, so that they can be evaluated by the users. H.- PRIZES The prize consists in a free 1 week stay for 2 persons, accommodated in a twin/double room, on half board basis, at the hotel Lopesan Costa Meloneras Resort. The prize is nominative and personal; in no case it may be changed, altered or compensated if requested by the winners. The Jury has the right to declare the prize void, in one or in all categories, if it considers that none of the projects fulfils the necessary requirements. The decision about the prize awarding may not be appealed. In case that winners cannot or do not want to accept their prizes or renounce to them, prizes will be declared void. I.- USING THE WINNER S NAME FOR PUBLICITY In the moment of giving the prizes to the winners in each one of the categories, Interhotelera Española, S.A. receives their expressive consent, with the aim of contest promoting, to use their names and images for this purpose, strictly in accordance with the obligations of Interhotelera Española, S.A. according to the Organic Law 15/1999, dated December 13 th, on Protection of Personal Data, and according to the Organic Law 1/1982, about Civil Protection of Honour, personal and family Privacy y personal Image. J.- DATA PROTECTION In accordance with the Organic Law 15/1999, dated December 13 th, about Protection of Personal Data, Interhotelera Española, S.A., company with registered address in Calle Alcalde Enrique Jorge 1, Parcela , San Fernando de Maspalomas (San Bartolomé de Tirajana), Gran Canaria, Spain, informs that the personal data received will be incorporated to a file, responsibility of the company, with the aim of informing the winners about their prizes or to comply the current tax legislation. Participants have the right to have access to their data, to rectify and to cancel them, as well as to oppose to them; this must be done by writing to the following address: Calle Concepción Arenal nº 20, 2º Cial, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain, enclosing a photocopy of their ID card. The provision of the participants personal data is obligatory; if the participant refuses to provide them, the consequence is the impossibility to participate in the current contest.

5 When participating in the current contest, participants express their explicit consent to their personal data being passed on by Interhotelera Española, S.A. to the users of the website thinkininnovation.com, with the aim of advertising the contest and winners identities, as well as with the aim of fulfilling the obligation of information required by the applicable law. K.- ACCEPTATION OF RULES AND CONDITIONS Due to the mere fact of participating in this contest, contest participants accept the contest rules and conditions, as well as the criteria of Interhotelera Española, S.A. regarding the amicable settlement of any issues arising from the current contest. L.- INTERPRETATION For the knowledge of any lawsuits or disputes that might arise from the interpretation or application of the present legal rules and conditions, Interhotelera Española, S.A., as well as the participants of this contest, expressly submit themselves to the jurisdiction and competence of the courts of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and expressly renounce to any other right or any other jurisdiction that might correspond to them.
