The rapidly expanding evidence in both specialties pose challenges for the professional to remain current and to recognize opportunities for change in thought and practice. The goal of the conference is to offer science, methodology, practice initiatives and discussion points for the participant to explore. You are invited to participate in this learning endeavor, share your thoughts, and broaden your ability to support care of Perinatal patients, babies, parents and families in the healthcare setting. Continuing Education Physician The Nationwide Children s Hospital is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Baby Shower for Guyana Help the Kids : We ask that you bring baby items for the Level II Special Care Nursery at Georgetown Public Hospital in Guyana. This Special Care Nursery has very limited resources, and all items have been donated through the non-profit organization Guyana Help the Kids ( Items needed include any specialized medical equipment that your hospital may no longer use: cardiac monitor leads, IV catheters, NG tubes, syringes, bili eye shields/masks for babies under phototherapy, diapers (cloth or disposable), clear dressings, endotracheal tubes, nasal cpap prongs, thermometers, neonatal stethoscopes, receiving blankets, or checks made to Guyana Help the Kids. Please do not donate pacifiers or formula as this is an exclusively breastfed hospital. No toys please. An area to deposit your donations will be designated at the conference. Thank you! Cancellation Policy A refund, minus 30% for administrative costs, will be given for cancellations received in writing before May 11, After this date, no refund will be available. Nationwide Children s Hospital reserves the right to cancel any program listed based upon enrollment or other contributing factors. Individuals who have enrolled will be notified at least one week in advance of a cancellation. Full tuition will be refunded or can be applied to another program should a program be cancelled.
