9 Honorable Mention Tonight s Dessert Special: Fusopthora Parfait This parfait is composed of tobacco pathogens. The rosy purple layer is Fusarium oxysporum grown on Acid PDA medium and blended to perfection with distilled water. The delicious white layer is composed of Phytophthora nicotianae grown on Carrot agar and blended in the same manner. This delectable parfait is topped with sclerotia of Sclerotinia sclerotiorum and garnished with a tobacco seedling. This parfait wouldn't be complete without the "Whipped Topping" which is a mat of P. nicotianae hyphae grown on Oatmeal agar. Consumption won't be hard with the very practical Pasteur pipette straw!
