This includes over 13 years health specific research experience; four years in health and health services policy and planning (concurrent with my health research experience); and over eight years in evaluation and designing, managing and administering international development programmes from start up to close down. I have extensive experience in translating strategic plans into practical programmes of action and possess a public health related PhD in epidemiology and health behaviour. I have worked closely with countries within the Asia-Pacific region such as Timor Leste, Vietnam, Cambodia, Fiji, Samoa, Nepal and India. I have also established partnerships and managed projects with organisations in Europe and Africa. I work collaboratively with a complex range of senior stakeholders including governments, universities, NGOs, funding bodies and other international stakeholders to develop strategic relationships and approaches, particularly in low/middle income countries. I have proven experience in brokering, establishing and managing cross-sector and international partnerships as well as excellent diplomacy and negotiation skills. In 2009, I was awarded an Endeavour Executive Award by the Australian Government [Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR)] to undertake a two-month work placement in Timor Leste. I worked with the Ministry of Health and the National Hospital to improve health service and research capacity, including an invitation by the Minister of Health to sit on the advisory group for the development of the new Research and Ethics Cabinet. 2

We also utilised a case study approach to assess what was intended overall and then compare what happened in Samoa and Tonga separately. This enabled us to review how the programme has worked in different settings. Reviewer and Team Leader, Post Project Review Comprehensive Clinical Assessment (interrai) in Aged Residential Care, June 2016 Jan 2017 Led the team reviewing the national Comprehensive Clinical Assessment (interrai) Project, commissioned by interrai Services, Central Region s Technical Advisory Services Ltd New Zealand (TAS). The findings from the review will be distributed to the Aged Residential Care sector and other stakeholders. Mentor/Coach for the interrai Governance Framework Project Lead, Provided practical guidance to the Project Lead for the interrai Governance Framework project who had to develop guidance, protocols, procedures and templates that would assist people to: develop a proposal to introduce or pilot an interrai assessment tool; undertake a good practice evaluation of a pilot of an interrai assessment tool; and develop a business case to introduce or roll out an interrai assessment tool. I conducted one on one working sessions and ongoing mentoring to assist with the development of supporting documentation for the interrai Governance Framework, with particular focus on the evaluative component of the framework. This included providing advice and guidance on 5
6 Languages the development of strategic governance documents for the Board and an evaluation framework for the introduction and use of new interrai tools. International development specialist, Ginigoada Bisnis Development Foundation, Combined Monitoring, Evaluation, and Client Tracker System, 2013-current Ginigoada is a Papua New Guinean charitable organisation. In this work I provide peer review and expert technical support on the development and implementation of a web based monitoring and evaluation system in a developing country. Supporting Senior Consultant, Global Reach of the New Zealand Qualifications Evaluative Framework New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) International, Was part of the two-person team (led by Dr Kara Scally-Irvine) that developed an evaluative framework to support the New Zealand Qualification Authority (NZQA)report on the progress and achievement of their Global Reach of the Qualifications Framework project. As part of this project, I co-led the two workshops and provided peer review, technical input and quality assurance. Evaluator, PacificTA, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, June I undertook fieldwork in Samoa for the evaluation of the PacificTA, a Technical Assistance Facility and provided additional peer review support to the lead evaluators. Project co-lead, NCEA ma le Pasifika information programme, Evaluation design services, I was part of the two-person team that undertook evaluation services for New Zealand Qualification Authority (NZQA) on the National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA) ma le Pasifika information programme. As a part of this project, I co-led two stakeholder workshops and provided peer review, technical input and quality assurance. Peer Review, Land Information New Zealand, Smart Cities Programme Evaluation The programme is piloting a series of innovative smart sensing projects in joint partnerships between Wellington City Council, Christchurch City Council, Digital Auckland and Development Auckland. I provide peer review, technical input and quality assurance. Project Lead, Massey University, Development of Master of Analytics Programme, Led and provided expert knowledge to support the development of a new health subject in the Master of Analytics programme that will equip students with the technical ability required to transform large amounts of data into information useful for health organisation decisions. Evaluation team member, New Zealand Fire Service Home Fire Safety Checks Evaluation, The New Zealand Fire Service commissioned an evaluation of the Home Fire Safety Checks programme over the 2013/14 and 2014/15 years. I provided peer review for the evaluation of the success and effectiveness of the Home Safety Check programme at reaching and affecting at-risk groups.
