1 The FIELD TRIPS FOR INCLUSION LIST will be updated periodically on monthly Agendas. Check your monthly Work & Study/Business Agendas via the District website for updates. A. Field Trip (1) Field Trips for Inclusion in Curriculum Guides Strategic Plan Link Goal 1: Learning Outcomes: To improve the learning and academic performance of all students in all PPS The Superintendent of Schools recommends and I so move, adoption of the following: RESOLUTION The Board of Education recognizes field trips, used as a device for teaching and learning are integral to the curriculum, and an educationally sound and important ingredient in the instructional program of the school. As a result, field trips serve as an essential means to extend learning, improve achievements, and enhance the overall development and educational experiences of students in the District. Field trips, however must support the District s curriculum and be aligned with the New Jersey Student Learning Standards. The District has identified those State of New Jersey field trips which are in compliance with both, and will be reflected in the curriculum guides for the school year.
