12 Additional Important Information LIMITED WARRANTY At Armor Express we stand behind our products. We offer custom fit body armor that is lightweight, flexible and comfortable. Our experienced and service oriented staff is committed to providing you the best possible product to ensure customer satisfaction. Your ARMOR EXPRESS vest has been made in accordance with our quality control program. This vest is warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship, subject to the following limitations. COVERAGE PERIOD The CARRIER is warranted for eighteen (18) months from date of purchase. The PANELS are warranted for five (5) years from date of purchase. LIMITATIONS This Limited Warranty begins with the date of purchase of this ARMOR EXPRESS Body Armor unit, and a valid warranty claim will be honored on a prorated basis. In order to qualify for this warranty you must complete and return the warranty card within thirty (30) days of receipt of vest. This warranty is extended to the original user purchaser only. This warranty is void if the maintenance care as stated on the protective panel label has not been followed; or if the product has been altered in any manner after delivery to the purchaser; or if the product has been subjected to abnormal use or abuse. Since coordinated and compatible protective panels and carrier are essential for proper protection, use of a carrier not produced or approved by ARMOR EXPRESS voids the warranty. In the event a defect is found in either component of your vest, carrier or protective panels, during the applicable warranty periods, return the vest and carrier directly to ARMOR EXPRESS, ATTN: RETURNS, at 788 M 88, Central Lake, MI 49622, postpaid. ARMOR EXPRESS, at its discretion, without cost to you, will repair or replace the defective part or the entire vest or refund the purchase price on a prorated basis. WE DISCLAIM LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. WE DISCLAIM ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OR MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE OTHER THAN AS PROVIDED ABOVE. SUPER SIZE Armor Express produces a wide range of sizes in order to custom fit our body armor to the customer. If ordering a vest with either (1) a panel width of 25" or greater OR (2) in a generic size XXL or larger, please be aware that there is a SUPER SIZE upcharge of 15%. These prices are listed where applicable. CUSTOM FIT GUARANTEE Armor Express offers a custom fit guarantee. If you are not happy with the fit of your body armor, you have 30 days from the day you receive your vest to resolve any issues at no charge. RETURN/ALTERATION POLICY Armor Express will refund, exchange, or alter body armor free of charge if the armor is returned within 30 days from the date of purchase. Armor Express will not refund or exchange body armor if it shows any signs of wear or damage. Armor Express will alter body armor after 30 days from the date of purchase for a fee of $50.00 for concealable body armor and $ for tactical armor. Please contact our Returns Deparment at returns@armorexpress.com to request a Return Authorization (RA) number prior to returning any merchandise. RESTOCKING FEES Armor Express will apply a 15% restocking fee to any items returned after 30 days from the date of purchase. Items that show signs of wear or damage will be refused and no credit will be issued. Please contact Returns Department for a Return Authorization (RA) number at returns@armorexpress.com. CUSTOM/SPECIAL ORDERS Armor Express welcomes the opportunity to produce items to our customer's specifications. However, in order to ensure the customer receives the best possible service, Armor Express has created a procedure and policy for custom/special orders. The following are some important points to remember when venturing into custom/special orders: No production quantities will be produced without the customer's written approval. All custom/special orders are final no returns. Custom/Special orders on our existing product line are subject to a 10% Upcharge. Designs requiring a completely new build (e.g. New patterns, design work, production time studies, etc.) will be subject to additional costs related to the creation of such items.
