1 As previously announced, the Western Regional Emergency Medical Advisory Committee (WREMAC) Policy # requires all providers in the 8- county WNY region to have and maintain ancillary course certification(s) by this June 30, Ancillary course certification requirements by level of care are as follows: EMT: Must have and maintain current CPR certification without expiration. Intermediate: Must have and maintain current CPR and Trauma Life Support (PHTLS or ITLS) certifications without expiration. AEMT: Must have and maintain current CPR and Trauma Life Support (PHTLS or ITLS) certifications without expiration. Critical Care: Must have and maintain current CPR, Trauma Life Support (PHTLS or ITLS), Pediatric Life Support (PALS or PEPP), and ACLS certifications without expiration. Paramedic: Must have and maintain current CPR, Trauma Life Support (PHTLS or ITLS), Pediatric Life Support (PALS or PEPP), and ACLS certifications without expiration. In an effort to assist providers with meeting this requirement, the Office of Prehospital Care has compiled a list of courses that will occur within the Wyoming- Erie region between now and June 30, Attached, please find the course list which includes the course date, start time, location, sponsoring agency, and contact/registration information. All registration interest must be directed to the training center offering the classes. If the Office of Prehospital Care becomes aware of additional opportunities, the list will be updated and disseminated accordingly.
