SYNOPSIS: Authorizes transportation for eligible relatives of a deceased Service Academy cadet/midshipman or Senior Reserve Officers Training Corps (SROTC) cadet while receiving pay under 37 USC 209(d) to attend the cadet/midshipman/srotc cadet s burial ceremony. Also authorizes transportation allowances for designated individuals or non-medical attendants for Academy cadets/midshipmen and SROTC cadets on training orders very seriously and seriously wounded, ill or injured. 2. The Committee Chair has approved the attached changes to the Joint Travel Regulations, made in MAP This determination is an advance notice of the changes to the JTR. You are requested to disseminate this determination to the appropriate offices within your Service. 4. These changes are scheduled to appear in JTR, dated 1 August This determination is effective on 24 June 2016, when it was approved by the Chair. 6.
