2 SMA 01 Department of Aeronautical Military Sciences Florence P.D.C. RINAM Commerciale Leadership and Strategic Analysis (Regular Course/Master Degree) Regular course: To provide the necessary tools to express, as directive Officer, an efficient leadership in all area of responsibility. Develop knowledge, skills, competence necessary to be a key element in the directive role of the Armed Force through: - Studying the importance and use of Air Power competence and Air Power doctrine in a joint combined scenario. - Acquisition of expertise to use tools such as problem solving and decision making techniques finalized to build and solve "projects" of complex activities. - Acquisition of analysis capacity about the international relations system, with reference to national strategic goals. At the end of the course, the student will get a second level master in leadership and strategic analysis at the department of Political Science and Sociology at the Florence University. Foreign students, with qualification equivalent to high school diploma, can only attend the two modules of the area "Political Strategic" and acquire the corresponding credits. Master degree: To provide the necessary tools to express, as directive Officer, the knowledge and skills necessary for a successful integration in the context of the decision F. A. and, in perspective, in joint and international sector. The course builds leadership skills, seeking to develop and obtain the maximum capacity in staff. It provides expertise to the optimization of resource management, with a view to saving efficiency and effectiveness. In addition, the course must: - enhance the expertise in relation to air power and the doctrine of u Force, enhancing them in the inter-force and international context; - develop innovative fields, in the various sectors of expanded in economic, industrial, etc.), recognizing the most important elemen strategic interests; - develop an appropriate intercultural sensitivity, valuable for in military-civil level (CIMIC) and indispensable for mutual understa active cooperation with non-governmental organizations and th too distant from the militar; - develop the ability to analyze the system of international relations, with reference to national strategic objectives;

To provide participants with the methodologies and instruments aimed at enhancing their ability to implement and support innovative teaching procedures in a continued improvement framework specifically intended at developing innovative projects while ensuring the solidity a development of the Air Force. Objectives are met by developing knowledge and competencies within the framework of innovative teaching procedures aimed at further organizational development. In particular, activities aim at developing professional figures able to implement innovative teaching procedures which respond to Air Force specific requirements as a function of the continued growth and changes in our different fields of activity. The course, besides providing a structured approach to all managerial aspects of training by illustrating them in a complete, in-depth manner, focuses on the development and enhancement of some specific dimensions which may develop, integrate and complete the different professional figures that make up the Air Force. 13 working days in presence + 3 weeks distance learning Italian Having attended the Instructors Training Course or Teaching Methodologies Course (integrated with the E-learning Further Training Course) proficiently; Degree; Language proficiency: Italian, minimum B2 level. 16 SMA 14 Centro di Formazione Aviation English Loreto P.D.C. RINAM /2056 Commerciale / ITALIAN FOR FOREIGNERS To provide students with a B2 level knowledge of Italian, needed to attend courses at the Italian Air Force of other Forces Institutes/Schools (e.g.: Academies, ISMA, SMAM etc.). 100/120 working days in presence Italian Basic knowledge of Italian is desirable or having attended the Italian language course at distance learning.. Where provided for, board and accommodation in Loreto shall be provided to participants by Ce. Fo. Av. En. School. Officers and NCOs will be lodged in single rooms with TVs and private bathrooms; rank-and- file soldiers and cadets will be lodged in quadruple rooms with common bathrooms.
17 SMA 15 Centro di Formazione Aviation English - Loreto P.o.C.: INTENSIVE ENGLISH COURSE Improve students knowledge of English in the Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing abilities. Students level will be certified by a JFLT exam according to STANAG Foreign students should qualify as B2 level in order to attend courses organized by the Italian Air Force or other Forces. Duration Candidate 58 working days. n.a. Where provided for, full board and accommodation in Loreto shall be provided to participants by SLE (School of Foreign Languages). Standard accomodation shall be provided in single rooms; in case students will outnumber available single rooms, they may be lodged in double or triple rooms, depending on rank.
