4 SAF/AG and the Air Force Audit Agency (AFAA) The Auditor General (SAF/AG) reports to the USECAF Head of AFAA (FOA) with one staff directorate at JB Andrews and three line directorates at the Pentagon, WPAFB, and JBSA-Randolph AFAA is sole provider of internal audit services in the Air Force 638 Civilian workforce, located at over 50 installations world-wide AFAA issues about 100 Air Force-level and 1,000 installation-level audit reports annually 3-Year average return on investment indicates AFAA returns $27 in savings to Air Force for every $1 in operating budget spent FY16 audit planning process Operational effectiveness, compliance and efficiency Protecting our Air Force & Airmen through Accountability
