In accordance with reference (a) the Completion Report for the deployment of U. S. Naval Mobile Construction Battalion ONE to Ccnnp Campbell, Phu Bai, and Camp Haskins North, DaNang, Republic of Vietnam, is hereby submitted. 2. EMPLOYMENT STATUS In accordance with COMCBPAC OPORD 0-69, U.S. Noval Mobile Construction 8attallon ONE deployed to Camp Compbell, Phu Bol, RVN from 21 JUL 69 to 2 NOV 69. Commander THIRTY SECOND Naval Construction Regiment maintoined operational control of the Bottalion during this period. In accordance with COM32NCR Speed Letter of 7 OCT 69 Mobile Construction Bottallon ONE then deployed 10 Camp I-Iosl ins North, Red Beach, DaNang, RVN from 2 NOV 69 to 23 MAR 70. Commander THIRTIETH Naval Construction Regiment maintained operational control until relieved by COM32NCR on 6 DEC 69. The primory m'sslon of the Battalion was to provide construction support to U.S Military and other free world forces. 3. ROHRBACK, CEC, USN, CBPAC, conducted the annual MIV on MCB ONE Operations, Admin, and Training Departmen~. A grade of excellent wos recommended. 27 NOV 69 LCDR R.P. BILDEN, CEC, USN, Seabee Specialty Instructor at CECOS, visited Camp Haskins North. 28 NOV 69 RADM S.R. SMITH, CEC, USN, COMCBPAC, RADM J.G. DILLON, CEC, USN, COM3NC8, CAPT J.E. POWELL, CEC, USN, COM30NCR, visited Camp Haskins North and were briefed on construction projects. 2 DEC 69 LT MESTERHAZEY, SC, USN, CW02 HOFFMAN, USN, SKC ABELON, USN conducted an ASI inspection of Supply, Food Services and Disbursing. A grade of high excellent (94) was recommended. 6 DEC 69 MCa ONE color guard participated in change of command ceremony for the relief of 30NCR. MCB ONE OPCON changed to 32NCR. 6-7 DEC 69 CDR C. V.
