Training Civilians should wear Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall September 2017 Facilities: Training will be conducted at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall located at 1555 Southgate Road, Arlington, VA, directly off of Orme Street in Building 29 (near the Marine Corps Exchange and Air Force Memorial. The Rosenthal Theater and adjacent classrooms rooms have been reserved for our convenience. Parking: Parking is limited so we encourage you to carpool or use public transport where possible. Parking is available at the Marine Corps Exchange directly across from Building 29 and the theater. Internet/Wi-Fi: Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) Wi-Fi is available in Building 29, but not in the adjacent theater. Dining Options: Marine Corps Ball burgers and dogs Fundraiser (tentative) MCCS Java Café (located at the MCX) Subway (located at the Post Exchange) Fort Myer Commissary Sheraton Pentagon City (Located at Orme and Columbia Pike) Pentagon City Shops is a short 5-minute drive. It has several other eating options. Access to base: Please have your official military identification Common Access Card (CAC) or DoD ID available to gain access to the base. 6 Directions to Henderson Hall, Building 29 Henderson Hall Gate 1 (Main Gate): Open 24/7 to DOD ID card holders and visitors. From the South on Interstate 95: Inside the Capital Beltway, I-95 becomes I-395. Proceed north toward Washington D.C. Take Exit 8A, marked "Washington Blvd., Route 27." Bear left on the ramp, following the signs. Exit right onto Columbia Pike (Rt. 244). Turn left onto S. Orme St. Take a left on Southgate Rd. to the entrance of Henderson Hall. From the West on Interstate 66: Proceed on I-66 inside the Capital Beltway. Take exit 26 marked "Route 110 South, Pentagon, Alexandria." Take the exit for Washington Blvd. South. Exit off Washington Blvd. to Columbia Pike and proceed straight onto Southgate Rd. where you will see the main gates for Henderson Hall. From the North on the Capital Beltway (I-495): Immediately after crossing the American Legion Bridge into Virginia, exit to the right onto the George Washington Memorial Parkway, toward Washington D.C., Exit Merge onto the Parkway, then take the exit for Washington Blvd. South. Exit off Washington Blvd. to Columbia Pike and proceed straight onto Southgate Rd. where you will see the main gates for Henderson Hall. From D.C.: Take I-395 out of the city and into Virginia. Pass the Pentagon and take the exit for Washington Blvd. North. Exit off Washington Blvd. to Columbia Pike and proceed straight onto Southgate Rd. where you will see the main gates for Henderson Hall. From Hatfield Gate to Henderson Hall: Proceed straight, through the next intersection. The road will curve to the right and become Carpenter St. Proceed until you come to the intersection of Carpenter and Hobson Dr. Turn right on Hobson Drive, then a left onto Southgate Rd. From Wright Gate to Henderson Hall: Proceed on Marshall Dr. from Wright Gate. Turn left onto McNair Rd. Proceed on McNair Rd. until you reach Carpenter Rd. Take a left on Carpenter Rd. Proceed until you come to the intersection of Carpenter Rd. and Hobson Dr. Turn right on Hobson Dr., then a left onto Southgate Rd. METRO: Pentagon City Metro is located 1.25 miles from Henderson Hall. Take S. Hayes to Army Navy Drive. Turn left and Continue to S Joyce St. Turn right to Southgate Rd and continue through GATE 1. From Pentagon Metro take N. Rotary Rd. toward Air Force Memorial and continue on Southgate Rd to GATE 1.
