1 STUDENTS HONORED AT ACADEMIC AWARDS NIGHT by Scott Saunders, Principal The Sundre High School Academic Awards Night was held on Friday, September 30. More than 120 current and former students were honored for their scholastic achievements from the school year. Staff members and representatives from a variety of local organizations presented honor roll scrolls, subject awards, scholarships, and special awards throughout the ceremony. More than $30,000 worth of scholarships, awards, and bursaries were handed out. Caden Surbey was recognized as the top grade 12 scholar and was awarded the Governor General s Bronze Medallion. and Keyanna St. Dennis were named Sr. High and Grade Nine Students of the Year respectively. Mrs. Tracy Wilson, and the Sundre High School band provided musical entertainment. A list of the students that were honored appears below. We appreciate this opportunity to recognize these students as leaders and scholars.
