Preference given to a graduate of Monrovia High School and/or El Monte High School. 5 $1,000 2 Andre Farias Memorial Auto Technology Scholarship Awarded to an outstanding automotive technology student Betty Holt May Memorial Scholarship 4 Bob Sass Memorial - Foster/Kinship Scholarship Citrus June graduate transferring to a four-year institution; 2.5 GPA; shows an interest in education; involved in campus activities. 2 $500 Awarded to a student having been in foster or kinship care, official or unofficial. Must have proof of kinship or foster care, i.e. court order documents or notarized document of unofficial kinship (relative) care. 1 $250 5 Bridging the Gap Scholarship 6 California Retired Teachers Association (CRTA) Scholarship Awarded to student Veteran who has undergone a traumatic brain injury (TBI) or post traumatic stress disorder. 1 $500 Recipient must be enrolled in Teacher Prep program or pursuing a career in Education and must submit at least one faculty recommendation letter. Recipient should not be receiving another Citrus College Foundation scholarship during the fiscal year. Should demonstrate financial need. 2 $500 7 CalWORKS - Mary Rome Memorial Scholarship 8 Child Development Textbook Grant Recipent must be a current student in CalWORKs program. Please confirm with program 1 $250 Returning students; majoring in Child Development/Early Care Education; parents of young children preferred; enrolled in at least 9 units. Awarded as a bookstore credit for education supplies and textbook purchases. 1 $500 9 Chris Van Winkle Memorial Scholarship Awarded to exemplary student in the field of visual arts Citrus College Faculty Association Scholarship Citrus College student enrolled in 9 units or more spring semester, transferring to a four year institution; 3.0 GPA or better; financial need. 2 $ Citrus College Merit Scholarship Continuing student with 12 or more units completed; financial need; full time student. 2 $250

Gerfen's Veterans Scholarship Awarded to a re-entry student or displaced homemaker who is a single parent with financial need; 2.0 GPA or better. 2 $500 Recipient must be enrolled in, or have completed, the Higher Education Transitional Course for Veterans (Counseling 161) class; must have a GPA of 2.3 or greater; must be a veteran of the United States Armed Forces. Applicant must submit a letter of recommendation from a Citrus College faculty member. 4 $ Connie Tucker White Ribbon Memorial Scholarship Current student at Citrus; current or former cancer survivor. 1 $ Dave Barton Memorial Journalism Scholarship Awarded to a student with financial need who is persuing a degree in journalism. 2 $ Deborah J. Anthony Memorial Scholarship Disabled student attending Citrus College during spring semester who plans to transfer to a four-year school in upcoming fall or spring semester; financial need. Preference is given to student with physical disability. 1 $ Distinguished Alumni Veterans Awarded to outstanding student veteran who are active the college veteran community Dr. Arnold Rollin Emerging Leadership Scholarship Awarded to a continuing student who is active in and currently enrolled in student government; must have completed a least one semester at Citrus College; 3.0 GPA or higher 1 $ Dr. Bill May Memorial Scholarship Citrus June graduate transferring to a four-year institution; 2.5 GPA; involved in campus activities and affiliated with athletics; baseball or football preferred. 1 $ Dr. John Cassey Memorial Scholarship Awarded to an outstanding student majoring in history or political science with plans to continue their education at a four-year institution in the field of history or political science Dr. Louis E. Zellers Scholarship Awarded to a student who has demonstrated leadership on campus or in the community; 2.5 GPA or better. 1 $ Dr. Michael Hurtado Student Textbook Scholarship Awarded to student with a 2.50 GPA or better. Financial need. Pursuing a degree in Social Sciences or Behavioral Sciences. Awarded as a bookstore credit for education supplies and textbook purchases. 1 $250

Haugh Award of Distinction Merit Award - Excellence in GPA or major. Student active in government or leadership positions, pursuing teaching as a career. 1 $2, EOPS/CARE Perseverance and Success Scholarship Recipent must be a current student in EOPS/CARE program. Please confirm with program. 1 $ Foothill Credit Union Financial Success Scholarship 27 Gene Dudley Leadership Scholarship 28 General Biology Transfer Scholarship Awarded to a student pursuing a degreein the field of nursing or education with a minimum 3.00 GPA Student must have demonstrated leadership and been active in student government and/or campus service organizations; must have completed a 2-year associate degree and be transferring to a four-year institution in upcoming summer or fall semester to pursue a BA or BS; 3.0 GPA or better. 1 $2,500 Recipient must have completed Biology 105 (General Biology) with a letter grade of B or better; must be transferring to a four-year institution in upcoming summer or fall semester. 1 $ Glendora Kiwanis Club Glendora resident; continuing student; involved in leadership; financial need. 2 $ Howard Braun Memorial Music Scholarship Awarded to a full-time continuing student with a 3.5 GPA or better enrolled in the Citrus College Instrumental Music program; posses exemplary talent in instrumental music. Swatzel Memorial Veterans Scholarship Awarded to a student Veteran ; 3.0 GPA or better. 1 $1, Jeanne and Merrill West Memorial Scholarship Recipient must be a June graduate who is transferring to a four-year institution in upcoming summer or fall semester; pursuing a degree in business or business management; financial need. 1 $ Joan E. White Scholarship Awarded to a student with financial need who is majoring in English. 4 $500

One award is intended for an AB540 student and one for a non-ab540 student but both will be awarded to non AB540 students if an AB540 qualified candidate is not identified. 5 45 Michael David Dittemore Memorial Scholarship for Nursing One scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding student enrolled nursing program. 1 $ Osher Scholarship Awards go to students with greatest financial need. Student must be subject to Board of Governors fee waiver. Must have completed 24 units of degree-applicable study prior to disbursement of scholarship. 6 units minimum for partial award. Awarded per semester. 10 $1, Patricia L. Knox Memorial Scholarship Citrus College June graduate with high GPA, above 3.0, transferring to an accredited nursing school and pursuing a BS in nursing. Students in related medical fields will be considered but priority is given to nursing students. 1 $2, Paul Nissen Memorial Scholarship Awarded to music major or band / orchestra member 1 $ Ramirez Arts Initiative Student should have financial need (low-income family); 3.0 GPA or better. Pursuing a degree in Fine Arts. 1 $ Rasmussen Family Scholarship 51 Readers to Leaders Student Textbook Grant (R2L) Awarded to a student with financial need or academic achievement; minimum 2.5 GPA required. 1 $300 Completed 12 hours at Citrus; must have a GPA or at least 2.5 and cannot be receiving EOP&S aid. Must have a current ASCC sticker. In order to be eligible, students must not have completed/exceeded 100 units. Returning Student. Award amount depends on number of units. Graduated from Azusa Gladstone High School, or Duarte High School WaterWise Consulting Scholarship Awarded to exemplary student in the field of water technology Watson Family Scholarship 64 Wildland Resources & Forestry Scholarship 65 Will Ulrich Scholarship 66 Writing Skills Scholarship 67 Wylie Family Scholarship Students enrolled in minimum of 9 units for spring semester; 2.0 GPA; must be a student parent; have declared academic or vocational goal; must demonstrate financial need (84 percent of state median income as published in the Family Fee Schedule issued by the Child Development division); must show progress toward achieving an educational goal; must have completed one semester at Citrus. 5 $500 Awarded to a continuing student with 3.0 GPA or better. Minimum of 12 units completed. Enrolled in the Wildland Resources & Forestry certificate program. 1 $500 Continuing Citrus student; 2.0 GPA; completed 12 units; successful completion of Reading 099/120/122; can only be received once. 1 $250 Awarded to students who have completed English 99 with a grade of A.
