5 E. Calendar 1. Applications/information on nominated students must reachthe receiving institution by: HU VESZPRE01 PL TORUN May June, 1st 10. November Novernber, 1st 2. HU VESZPRE01: The application deadline forautumn and fuli year admtsslon ts May 30 th and for the spring semester November 10 th The admission decision will be made by the faculties by the end of June (autumn semester and fuli year admission) / end of December (spring semester admission) and the students and the coordinators will be informed directly by and post. 3. HU VESZPRE01: Each student should ask for an official Transcript of Records personally at the Directorate of Academic Affairs always in the end of the exchange period. If some of the courses are at that time not recorded in the transcript, the final version will be sent to the student or to the home university within one month from the end of the semester. In this case, student should inform the Faculty International Coordinator about the mtsslnq courses and contact informatlon. 4. Termination of the agreement [It ls up to the involved lnstitutlons to agree on the procedure for modifying or terminating the tnter-institutionel agreement. However, in the event of unilateral termination, a notice of at least one academic year should be given. This means that a unilateral deciston to dtscontinue the exchanges notitied to the other party by 1 September 20XX will on/y take effect as ot 1 September 20XX+l. Grading systems of the institutions HU VESZPRE01: the numeric scale used is from 5 (excellent) to 1 (insufficientjfail). Please note that some courses are accomplished only on a pass/fa il basis without any further grading. 5

TORUN01: The Nicolaus Copernicus University follows the ECTS scheme, which means that ECTS eredits are alloeated to eourse units, leetures, practtcal works, ete. at eaeh faeulty. In ECTS, 60 credits represent one year of study (in terms of workload); normally 30 credits are given for six months (a term/sernester). The Polish grading system in higher edueation is based on the 5 to 2 scale, where 5 is the best mark and 2 is the worst. Moreover, students can also be marked with additional signs of + and -. Each of them equals half a point: + means 0.5 more. Some courses, however, are not evaluated on such a marking scheme and for these a student may simply obtain za!. or zaliczenie (EN. Visa/Residence Permit The sending and receiving institutions will provide assistance, when required, in securing visas for incoming and outbound mobile participants, according to the requirements of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education. Insurance The Universlty of Pannonia's policy on student insurance requires that al! international students have their own insurance, and that the coverage be valid for the entire duration of the student's stay at the University. For obtalning treatment under the same conditions as insured Hungarians, a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) ar Provisional Replacement Certificate (PRC) rnust be submitted to the health-care provlder. You need both a European Health Insurance Card and your passport ar ID card. The European Health Insurance Card ls required for each period of treatment. For non-eu students, a valid health insurance is required for enrolment and can be purchased after arrival in Hungary, for approx. 107 per semester. The sending and receiving institutions will provide assistance in obtaining insurance for incoming and outbound mobile participants, according to the requirements of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education. 7
