Rationale for Recommendation: When a position on a City board or commission becomes available thru term expiration or resignation, the Office of the City Clerk conducts a recruitment for interested parties. When the application period has closed, the Personnel and Public Employee Committee conducts interviews of the applicants and forwards nominations to the Mayor for appointment.
