4 COMPANY Who we are At Medisa, we are specialists in the design, manufacturing and sale of high technology products for hospitals, clinics and geriatric residences, namely hospital beds, maternity beds, ergonomic and gynaecological chairs, treatment tables and emergency stretchers, to name but a few. that, not only are we leaders in our sector on a national scale, but we are also seeing exceptional growth internationally, something that motivates us to improve and achieve perfection. We currently export to over twenty countries. We are also qualified to train and consult medical staff in the correct usage of our equipment, providing them with all the necessary technical knowledge. Our company was established over thirty years ago, owing to the knowledge and technical training in the hospital sector. At this stage, the manufacturing of products to aid medical staff in their duties and to better the quality of life of patient began. 13 PRODUCTION Our production processes Medisa uses strict criteria when selecting suppliers and proactively collaborates with them in pursuit of the best quality, cooperation and innovation; only in doing this can we obtain the best possible production and meet our clients expectations. All our management processes are computerised, allowing us to enter orders into our database as soon as they are received, which, in turn automatically initiates the purchase of raw materials, the production process, work shifts, transport and training. Our manufacturing processes are completely automated and are autocontrolled by a data control system, which guarantees 100% perfection in all our range of products. During assembly, a further exhaustive inspection is carried out on all products, to ensure that maximum quality is achieved, without exception. All our products are produced on our premises, extending over more than 10,000 m2, divided among seven facilities located in Fuenlabrada (Madrid). 13 Medisa Presentation 2011

19 PRODUCTION Our products OPTIMA Designed for patients of maternitygynaecology care in all delivery stages, MA delivery, prenatal and postnatal periods. The bed can be easily transformed into the chair position to ensure comfort for the patient during delivery. The construction of the bed enables proceeding stages of the delivery without the need of moving the patient into another bed. The height adjustment, change of backrest and seat segment inclination angles are possible by means of electrical actuators. With epoxy coated steel tube frame done to resist the highest demands. The height adjustment Is monitored by the control panel, the same as the electric Trendelemburg and reverse Trendelemburg positions. The bed is equipped with a locking panel, which enables locking all of the electrically adjusted functions. It is also possible to change the backrest inclination manually by the CPR lever. Four castors with central braking system with steer facility. The undercarriage is made of ABS material. The delivery bed model OPTIMA, ensures patient safety and comfort, allowing specific examinations and the birth in the most comfortable position for the patient. 35 AFTER-SALE SERVICES Training At the moment of delivery, MEDISA agrees to carry out as many training days as necessary to ensure that the personnel are able to dedicate their efforts entirely to the patients wellbeing. MEDISA, in collaboration with the hospital, plans an extensive clinical training programme, by individual areas, shift by shift.
