4 MMO 3500 CLINICAL ADVANTAGES The clinical positions: Cardiac Chair, Trendelenburg/Reverse Trendelenburg and Comfort positions are some of the features which help ensure effective treatment. The Chair position helps to reduce the pressure at chest level and therefore contributes to a more efficient respiratory function. Reducing the risk of infection Every product that MMO develops is focused on minimizing the risk of cross-contamination and we use antibacterial materials for easy cleaning and disinfection. In addition, we make sure that all areas are easily accessible for cleaning, and in areas requiring specific attention, we provide additional contamination protection. The absence of a lower chassis allows for great maneuverability, complete access for cleaning and universal use of devices such as patient lifts and portable X-Ray equipment. 5 The 3 segment side-rails, in combination with the bed s electrical functions, provide real support for the mobilization and stimulation of the patient s autonomy - whilst reducing risk of injury to the caregiver. The height of the bed during the patient s exit, operated by the customizable remote control, allows for easier movement, without the assistance of caregivers. 7 SÉCURITÉ Unlocking of the side rails by dual command The side rails provide complete protection for the patient and are in compliance with the norms NF EN The see-through design of the side rails provides the caregiver and patient with easy visibility of each other, optimising their interaction. The MMO 3500 bed complies with the European directive 93/42/CEE and represents the ideal solution for the needs of patients and caregivers: - The ultra-low position of 29 cm to the floor guarantees the best safety conditions for the patient. - The optimal level of comfort in any position, ensures the safety of the resident whilst promoting autonomy. - The multiple configuration of the side-rails gives the caregivers easy access from every position, providing care in a completely safe environment. 3 levels of safety, related to the low position have been designed: 1. Acoustic signal and reduced speed of descent commencing at 40 cm from the floor. 2. Automatic stop at 32 cm from the floor. 3. An additional command engages the central brake, which is combined with an acoustic signal. The final automatic stop is then at 29 cm from the floor. 40 cm 32 cm 29 cm 7

8 MMO 3500 SIMPLICITY Maneuverability The set of eight covered multidirectional castors provide exceptional manoeuvrability. They allow the movement of the bed in all directions with little effort. This is particularly appreciated when cleaning the room. In directional mode (one steering caster locked), the MMO 3500 bed provides simple, ergonomic transportation by one person. Multidirectional castors The wall-fitting device allows very easy and secure positioning of the bed in relation to the wall. The device is retractable during transportation.
