Studets ca expect to sped 2-25 miutes travellig from resideces to the school or miutes travellig from homestay accommodatio to the school. Stadard Homestay The stadard homestay optio provides a sigle bedroom/study which is available o a part board basis (breakfast ad eveig meal Moday-Friday ad all meals at weekeds), o a bed & breakfast basis, or o a selfcaterig basis. Most rooms have iteret. Executive Homestay The executive homestay optio provides a more luxurious stadard of bedroom/study with esuite or private bathroom ad iteret coectio. Executive homestay is available o a part board basis (breakfast ad eveig meal Moday-Friday ad all meals at weekeds), o a bed & breakfast basis, or o a self-caterig basis. Residetial Accommodatio BBSI orgaises both studet-style selfcaterig residetial stays ad hotel-style residetial stays all year roud. Hotel-style resideces ca be booked o a room-oly basis. Breakfast ad dier ca also be booked as a optio. Fees vary accordig to locatio ad room type, ad are published o the BBSI website. Social Facilities The BBSI social programme is orgaised i cosultatio with studets ad is desiged to match the tastes of differet types of studet. Activities iclude studet parties, excursios, film ad coversatio clubs, lectures ad a variety of sports. Some activities may be free of charge. For activities that icur etry fees ad trasportatio costs, a charge is made. Weeked day trips are orgaised o our behalf by a third-party compay, ad they provide a tour guide o the trips. Our social programme is published o the BBSI website ad o our Facebook page. 3 BBSI Terms & Coditios Erolmet To erol o a course at BBSI, you must sed a completed erolmet form, a copy of your passport, ad a o-refudable deposit of , or full fees. You must sig the erolmet form to cofirm your acceptace of these Terms & Coditios. You ca sed your erolmet form to BBSI by , fax, post or courier, or olie via the BBSI website. If your applicatio is successful, BBSI will sed a cofirmatio of your erolmet ad a ivoice for the total fees due. BBSI will accept your erolmet o the uderstadig that you will study for the duratio of stay that you declare whe you erol. It is your resposibility to esure that you receive full iformatio before erolmet o the course(s) you choose. BBSI reserves the right to make chages to the dates, fees ad cotet of courses, without otice. Travel Documets It is your resposibility to esure that you have valid travel documets (ie valid passport, atioal ID card, travel permit or visa, as applicable). If you eed a visa to study i the UK, BBSI will sed you the followig documets to support your visa applicatio: Cofirmatio of Erolmet (visa letter to support applicatios for a 6 or 11 moth Studet Visitor Visa); or Cofirmatio of Acceptace for Studies (CAS) to support applicatios for a Tier 4 Geeral Studet Visa. * The 11-moth Studet Visitor Visa is oly valid for the BBSI Geeral Eglish, Eglish & IELTS [Academic] Preparatio, or Eglish for Busiess courses. BBSI reserves the right to request paymet i full before issuig ay visa documetatio. Studet Visa Holders Before you arrive for your course, you must provide BBSI with your UK address, telephoe umber ad emergecy cotact details, ad must otify Receptio immediately if there are ay chages to this iformatio durig your stay. Durig your course you must maitai satisfactory attedace ad academic progress. BBSI is required to share iformatio o studet visa holders with the Home Office, UK Visas & Immigratio (UKVI), icludig persoal cotact details, erolmet details ad course chages, attedace records, ad ay suspected or cofirmed breaches of visa coditios. Courier Charges If you request origial copies of your erolmet documets, these will be set by stadard airmail post. If you eed the documets set by courier service (eg DHL), you must request ad pay for this i advace. Paymet of Fees Full paymet of fees is due four weeks before the start of your course. You ca pay either by telegraphic trasfer, bakers draft, cheque (draw o a UK bak), debit card or credit card (a 3% hadlig charge applies to credit card paymets). Whe makig a telegraphic trasfer, you will eed to provide the bak with your ame, address ad BBSI ivoice umber as a referece. All bak charges must be paid by you. BBSI reserves the right ot to issue a course certificate if full fees have ot bee received by BBSI. Miimum Age BBSI accepts studets aged 18 ad above for all its courses, with the exceptio of pre-masters courses where the miimum age is 20. Laguage Levels Should you wish to check that your Eglish laguage level is sufficiet for a particular course, you are recommeded to udertake the BBSI olie Eglish test at ad submit the results to BBSI. Please ote, however, that BBSI will make the fial decisio regardig suitability for ay chose course after the etry test o your first day. If your laguage level is too low for the course you booked, BBSI will recommed a alterative course ad tell you how much additioal study time you may eed to reach the required level. I this case BBSI caot guaratee that the alterative course will have the same umber of lessos, ad o refud will be provided if the alterative course is of lower value. Academic Timetables Lessos are timetabled daily i blocks of two 45-miute lessos, withi the study periods detailed i the BBSI publicity. You will receive a persoal timetable whe you start your course, ad class times/ alteratios are published weekly withi the school. Classes All classes have a maximum of 14 studets. Classes may be withdraw o occasios, for example due to start/ed of term procedures, first day iductios, examiatios, excursios, or other uavoidable circumstaces. No refuds or substitutios will be made for such class withdrawals. Examiatio Fees The fees for exteral examiatios are ot icluded i the course fees. However, for those BBSI courses accredited by NCFE, a certificate from NCFE is icluded i the course fee. For details of exteral examiatio fees please see our website. Course Books & Materials We make a stadard charge for course materials, which will be show o your ivoice. Course materials iclude course books (core readig texts) ad teachig resources. You will be give your course materials i your class. Social Programme Fees Some evets ad activities may be free of charge. Fees will be charged where etry fees or trasport costs apply. A detailed BBSI social programme, icludig fees, is published mothly i advace o the BBSI website ad i the school. Extedig or Chagig a Course You ca exted ad pay for your course at ay time durig your stay. If you wish to chage your course you must give a miimum of oe week s otice. BBSI caot guaratee to agree to your requests. The decisio whether to grat a extesio or chage will deped o may factors, such as your laguage level, academic progress ad attedace record, the terms of your visa, ad paymet of ay additioal fees due. We will charge you at the stadard published fees at the time. If you decide to chage to a course of lower value, we will ot refud ay course fees paid. Holidays & Abseces If you decide to take a holiday ad be abset from your course, you caot claim a refud or compesatio, ad you will be marked abset. Certai courses have holiday breaks built ito them ad chages caot be made to these dates. The school will ormally be closed o UK public holidays. Term dates ad public holiday dates are published every year i the BBSI Dates & Fees ad o the website. We will ot refud or compesate you for missed classes fallig o public holidays.

4 BBSI Terms & Coditios cotiued Attedace & Disciplie You must atted all your lessos o time ad ot be abset. If you arrive late for a class you may be refused etry. If you are sick you must get a doctor s certificate for the period of your sickess, or your absece will ot be authorised. You must tell the school immediately if you are ill ad caot atted your lessos. If your attedace falls below 80 per cet, your fial certificate may be affected. BBSI reserves the right to dismiss you for usatisfactory work, poor attedace, miscoduct, failure to follow school rules ad policies, committig a crimial offece, failure to pay fees due, or breakig the terms of your visa. I these cases, we will ot refud fees or provide you with a course certificate. Complaits Policy BBSI aims to deal with all complaits efficietly ad fairly. If you have a complait to make about aythig relatig to your course, ie classes, facilities, accommodatio, admiistratio, other studets, etc, you should speak to the Admiistratio Maager, who will esure that your complait is dealt with i accordace with BBSI policy. Accommodatio Homestay accommodatio is selected accordig to AccreditatioUK guidelies. For all other types of accommodatio (such as hotel or residece), BBSI acts as a itermediary ad ay arragemets you make with them will be subject to their terms ad coditios. Requests to chage or leave accommodatio which has bee booked for you must be made at least oe week i advace. If you give less tha oe week s otice, you will be charged for the week s accommodatio. A admiistratio fee of will also apply if you chage your accommodatio. Accommodatio fees ca oly be paid for complete weeks. Durig holiday periods, or whe the school is closed, you must make your ow arragemets with your host. If you decide to be abset from your homestay (eg for a holiday), you must pay a retaier fee of weekly to keep your room, or weekly i a executive homestay. If you have to leave your accommodatio because you failed to follow the rules ad policies of the provider, BBSI will ot be resposible for providig alterative accommodatio. Health Declaratio You must advise BBSI i writig at the time of erolmet if you have ay metal or physical illess, allergy, disability, learig difficulties or other coditio that may affect your studies, or the health or wellbeig of ay other studet, host or staff member. BBSI reserves the right to reject a erolmet or ed your course if there is a risk to your health ad safety, or the health ad safety of other studets or staff members. I such cases, ay refud of fees will be strictly at the discretio of the BBSI directors. Refud Policy A miimum of four weeks otice is required if you wish to cacel a course before your course start date. I such cases, BBSI will pay a refud of fees paid, less the erolmet fee ad ay other expeses, eg credit card charges, DHL delivery fees, etc. If you request a course cacellatio withi the four weeks leadig up to your course start date, BBSI will refud full accommodatio fees ad tuitio fees paid, less the deposit ad ay other expeses, eg credit card charges, DHL delivery fees, etc. If BBSI has provided you with origial visa documets, you must retur these before ay refud is made. If you request cacellatio of your course after it has started, BBSI will make o refud. If your visa is refused, ad you have set us the origial Visa Refusal Notice, the provided you have followed Home Office, UK Visas & Immigratio (UKVI) criteria, BBSI may refud the fees paid, less the erolmet fee ad ay other expeses, eg credit card charges, DHL delivery fees, etc. This decisio is at the discretio of BBSI directors. If you have made a false declaratio or broke the terms of your visa, BBSI is required to sed a report to the UKVI, withdraw sposorship, ad dismiss you from your course. I such cases, you have o right to refud or compesatio. If your visa expires before the ed of your course, ad you are ot able to secure a ew visa, or if the BBSI sposorship licece is withdraw, you will ot be allowed to cotiue your course, ad will have o right to refud or compesatio. If the UKVI makes chages to their regulatios that affect the BBSI sposorship licece ad its ability to provide the course you have booked, you will have o right to refud or compesatio. I ay of the above circumstaces, your fial certificate may be affected. Isurace BBSI will ot refud fees i the followig evets: late arrival for a course; a chage of course; school closure; early departure; beig dismissed from a course. You are therefore strogly advised to obtai travel ad health isurace before travellig to the UK. It is your resposibility to arrage persoal isurace i case you are uable to atted or cotiue a course due to illess or ijury. Photographs, Videos & DVDs BBSI sometimes takes photographs ad videos withi the school, for use i future publicity material, or for studet sposors or ETOs. O request, BBSI may eed to share such images with the police, UKVI, or other official authorities. If you do ot wat to appear i ay BBSI publicity, you must tell us i writig at the start of your course. Liability BBSI ad its represetatives will ot be liable for ay loss, damage, illess or ijury to persos or property, however caused, except where such liability is imposed by Eglish law. Force Majeure Neither BBSI, or its represetatives, are liable i the evet of the school beig uable to supply services to which it is cotractually boud, ie i the evet of labour disputes, or other causes outside the cotrol of BBSI, icludig chages i UK legislatio.
