3 Purpose Optimal Outcomes in Women's Health: Pregnancy & Birth 2016 is an interprofessional educational conference designed to provide current best evidence on maternity care practices in order to improve the quality, safety and outcomes of pregnancy, labor & delivery care in Minnesota. Objectives Discuss various evidence-based practices that can optimize outcomes during pregnancy and birth for women, infants, and families. Describe ways to implement evidence-based practices learned at this conference in their respective organizations. Summarize the current research regarding ways to promote physiologic labor and birth.
