5 HEALTH TOURISM TRADE AGRI SECURITY WATER EDUCATION Convert a Dispensary in every sub-location to a Community Hospital (WHO standards) Have an healthcare facility every 5 kilometers Add few rooms in every health institution for bed wards, Maternity, Mini-theatres, Laboratories, X- Build Doctors & Nurses quarters for HRH retention Purchase an Ambulance for every location Emergency Response units in place Quality Improvement Customer service programme consists of standards and training. All staff follow these standards to ensure that service is maintained at the necessary level to keep our customers happy.

6 Maternal Healthcare According to a 2010 survey in Machakos by Kenya Service Provision Assessment, an estimated 56% of pregnant women deliver at home, most without the assistance of trained provider. MMR: HIV Deaths : Population Reproductive Age: Reduce Maternal Mortality Child Survival Reports of ill health amongst children remain relatively high, with no pattern seen in improvements (KHPF ). IMR: HIV Deaths : Population <5 yrs: Reduce Child Mortality Human Resources for Health & Infrastructure There is, however, no real increase in health system resources, with health expenditures as a proportion of GDP, and public expenditures as a proportion of general government expenditures remaining stagnant during the policy period.
