5 s: Throughout the Orientation Program, new caseworkers will participate in weekly s facilitated by the Monitor Caseworker. As a new caseworker, you will be able to discuss with your peers what has been learned during the previous week s Charting the Course training as well as what you ve experienced during your field work and shadowing. Any questions regarding training, casework, or field work can be addressed. In addition, your weekly schedule will be reviewed to ensure that the Orientation Program is meeting your specific learning needs. The experience will be a collaborative group learning process where new caseworkers will have the opportunity to work with each other. Working with your peers in this way is the beginning of the development of your peer network and will provide ongoing support for you as a new caseworker in the field of Child Welfare.
